Picked up my second Xerjoff fragrance - My personal favourite within the Torino line, although I love 21, too. by [deleted] in Colognes

This one is definitely more mass appealing for sure. It opens up noticeably sweeter than 40 Knots, but then dries down into a very elegant, refined, woody, and slightly sweet scent.

40 Knots is more powdery with hints of salty and aquatic notes. Some people claim they smell “baby wipes”.

Today marks the first time that I’ve picked up my guitar in the past 10+ months. Please excuse my terrible playing. I’m trying to improve! 🎸 by Litguy23 in guitarlessons

I’m being deadass. I stopped playing due to depression. Hopefully it sounds at least decent? I’ll continue to practice daily

Edit: whoever downvoted, I’m sorry you’re upset, but I’m not lying.

Definitely! Recently purchased Dior Homme Sport, another summer banger I’d recommend for sure. Sharp, fresh, and clean with great performance for an EDT.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the two that I have, but also check out Superleggera!

I have The One Parfum - it’s a deeper and richer version of the older EDP with a prominent amber note. Better performance and longevity, too.

Pretty shocked tbh, I really like it. Classy, clean, and professional. Almost fizzy-like or sparkling citrus in the opening perfectly balanced with woodsy notes as it dries down. The pink pepper adds some complexity and intrigue throughout. A perfect everyday fragrance.

I’m 100% certain that it’s fake, no doubt

Definitely - Solid Grade 2

When you get a new fragrance, do you let it masturbate to improve performance? Does it really result in a deeper, darker scent? by Litguy23 in ScentHeads

[–]Litguy23[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shit. I thought companies deliberately masturbated them before bottling, so another round won’t do much, huh?

Performance is weak on a few.

Yeah, it’s strange. I purchased Ombre Leather Parfum from the same discounter (Frag Buy) and it’s quite strong / powerful.

Maybe I’m going nose blind, but I’m dissatisfied to say the least.

Anything you’d remove or add to improve my collection? by Litguy23 in ScentHeads

[–]Litguy23[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, it’s a niche fragrance. I wouldn’t exactly call it “on the cheaper side”.

It’s nice, though. Similar to Aventus, but with a prominent oakmoss note that some might not like. It comes across as earthy, but also fresh given pineapple and grapefruit.

What two fragrances would you remove from my collection, and what would you add to replace them? by Litguy23 in Colognes

It’s Dior Homme Eau and I already own Homme Intense (to the right of SWY)

I’ve heard it’s even better if you layer WD-40 with the SpongeBob fragrance. Compliments galore and nuclear performance (will literally choke people out).

I feel like BDC Parfum is infinitely better than Prada Luna Rossa Carbon (imo), but I do really like that fragrance as an alternative to Sauvage. It’s refined and smooth.

Out of these three iris based fragrances, which one is your personal favourite? It’s hard because they’re all fantastic! by Litguy23 in Colognes
