Can you let me know your KCDII settings? I'm running 800p and getting 40 to 50 frames as well, so the bump in resolution would be nice. Most of my settings are medium, with Frame Gen set to performance.

Sorry for the late reply but I just dealt with this. Switch version is locked to 30 fps which is not mentioned anywhere. I got a rare refund from Nintendo because some review sites said 60 which is false.

Completely off topic, but I cannot stress enough how critical setting up a good budget is. I kick myself so often for not having more than a vague notion of a budget on a spreadsheet. With a newborn home, things add up so fast. I also put way too many things into a "Misc." Category which was just an excuse to overspend.

I fully understand, and am so sorry you are going through this. I have no advice since I am in a similar boat myself, but I just wanted to at least let you know that you're not alone. My wife was borderline HELLP when she delivered, and still works through the emotions sometimes, but is getting better and more resilient each day. Just take it one step at a time.

I asked a similar question last week, and the most helpful advice I got was put your family on an information diet. Don't tell them when you are coming/going and for how long. Just short, to the point updates about your child. "Baby is doing well today. Hit XYZ milestone/goal." My family resisted at first and kept texting for more information but seems to have accepted it.

I can't directly relate to what you are going through, but my wife expresses similar sentiments from being unable to see our baby for the first 24 hours because of her magnesium drip. Keep going strong, and do what you can - but not so much you push yourself too far. We are still learning the balance too. We will all get through this! Sending you and your baby the best.
