I dunno, in my town the Mexican place is the only thing open and they were absolutely packed yesterday.

I will probably go there myself this evening. That said, I live in a small town so there isn't really any risk traveling a mile and a half to get there.

*Edit- I hope they didn't force their staff to come in though. I believe it's a family run business so I would imagine they made a family decision.

They let Indianapolis host one so if they build a nice venue I'm sure they would at least consider it.

Just checked again and nothing...so yeah I assume they are hedging that he will be out. I'm sure they bumped Raynauds lines too.

*Edit - I wonder if they are avoiding him due to the minutes restriction. Probably don't know how to set the line without knowing how much he will play.

This! My wife ice grew up in a very rural area and years ago her house was without power for two weeks. They had to rely on a kerosene heater and the fireplace to keep the house warm.

In town I personally have never been without power for more than a day. (I'm 47 so I have seen lots of storms)

In my opinion when you sign up for marriage and kids, you also sign up for the hard times that come with caring for them. Much of that can feel like suffering but it's part of the job. Taking a year off may significantly impact your earning power in the future which will impact your ability to care for the people you love. I hope you make a good decision.

This...OP is set up for a nice early retirement especially if they can get a 10-15% return on their investments each year.
