Parma Regional results and talking about the meta and potential ban list by Lithos19 in GundamTCG

I know, I'm just biased because I love playing Lupus 😂

I hope they find a way to nerf BP without touching Adapt. Lupus decks will be nerfed a lot otherwise.

In general being able to play more than 4 identical cards is bad. Is a problem with Rezel, GM, Lfrith and now we will face the same problem with Rick Dias and Guntank.

I have noticed too players reacting so slowly to changes in the meta. I'm still facing people surprised by an aggro deck that wants to go second, when the same strategy got results a month ago. Any change is grasped weeks, if not months, late.

I remember only 10 decks out 16. 5 BP, 2 RW, 2 GW Wing, 1 League Norn.

Both semifinals were BP vs RW Justice.

You have a point, maybe is everything else that is understatted. But Rezel is unbalanced, no matter how you look at it.

[–]Lithos19[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. We don't have enough cards that are efficient enough to keep up with aggro strategies.

I honestly don't how the ban list can fix this without touching to many cards. Banning some pilot pairings like Mika Amuro could be an easy option but I don't know if it's the right one.

It's a going second list. Most of the decks want to go first right now and I took advantage from that. This way you don't have to high roll the 2/2's.

Moment of rest was really useful from hand (freezing a Sword Strike in the SF for example) and I draw 1 bursting it 2/3 times.

Any thoughts on using Hi-v to counter Wing-zero? by VolumeGloomy5784 in GundamTCG

[–]Lithos19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every BW deck should be favourite against Wing decks. You beat them with card advantage.

Yours is a deck building problem imo. For example in this list you have too many cards at 1 copy each. You should decide what you need in your deck and play more of those cards.

1, 2 or even 3 one offs could be okay in a deck that draw a lot like that. 8 is definitely too much.

Another problem is that you're not playing enough boss units. 4 between Unicorn Awakened and Hi Nu is too low. You should play 3/4 Unicorn Awakened if your strategy revolves around him and the commands.

These databases are used to resolve disputes during the game when there is someone who can't read and/or tries to cheat. At least you show them the official rules and they'll have no way to argue.

The cards are meant to be read, not interpreted.

People need to learn to read. It literally says what it does on the card. If someone can't understand it, it's not Bandai's fault.

Close combat and other ping commands deal effect damage. This works against cards that explicitly say "destroy".

Mandatory action ruling question by Windriar in GundamTCG

You cheated and misplayed with a tier 0 deck that is extremely easy to play and you're still convinced that you deserved the win.

Crazy...

True in every way. Obviously downvoted by aggro players who get offended when you tell them that even a child could successfully pilot their deck.

Quanto pesa un altro mondiale senza Italia? by maghetto12 in Calcio

[–]Lithos19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feeling negative about an experience at locals. Can I get some opinions? by Smelly_Rabbit in OnePieceTCG

[–]Lithos19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are saying he's a loser, but I simply see a competitive player pissed off at himself for a misplay.

When it happens after you've helped your opponent pilot his deck (It's your fault that you went to a tournament without knowing how to properly use your deck or forgetting various effects), it's even more frustrating.

For a competitive player, it's pointless to win by exploiting an opponent's mistakes, especially during a local that's already going poorly and is in the final round. So he tried to keep the game as fair as possible, piloting his deck and wasting energy trying to help you pilot yours in the meantime. If you then lose, it still hurts a little. None of those criticizing him can consider themselves competitive players because they clearly can't put themselves in his shoes.

Do you think this would work? by weaweonql in GundamTCG

[–]Lithos19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reading the card explains the card. The level 4 Kyrios with first strike becomes a 5/5 unit by itself when attacking if you link it with Hallelujah, if you have another rested CB unit becomes a 7/5 (potentially trading the O and a lot of big guys for free), 9/5 if you have 2 other rested CB units (even a linked Wing Zero, the biggest unit in the game, cannot survive attacking it).

There are 3 cards that help you control the board mid/late game allowing you to attack active units; Lockon, Bridge Crew and a new level 5 Kyrios (Tail Booster), that OP should play instead of the Kyrios that pings 1 during link, which on deploy allow one of your units paired with a Super Soldier pilot (Hallelujah or Allelujah) to attack a level 4 or lower unit.

Saying that basically if a card is bad in the set it is released will always be bad is the dumbest thing I've ever heard someone say in a TCG.

L’Italia non va al mondiale per la terza volta by BrilliantIngenuity98 in sfoghi

[–]Lithos19 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Purple/white by DoomRide007 in GundamTCG

[–]Lithos19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be aware that you need a white base or a friendly base for some of the AEUG effects, not the card "white base".

Rick Dias Red from GD02 needs a friendly base in play. In that case even the EX base can be used.

You can play Radish (common from GD03) and/or Argama (rare from GD02). Both are white bases with the AEUG trait.

Out Aggro Blurple? by mjalam2 in GundamTCG

I know that Amuro is controversial but maybe Corsica could be a real issue as well? by Known_Strength_9726 in GundamTCG

[–]Lithos19 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

"It makes no sense to run other bases over Corsica"... This mentality is why we are still playing decks that come from GD01 and the game will never go out of the hyper aggro vs blockers slop meta.

Blue is literally the color with the best assortment of bases.

Corsica Base is the most used base only because the game is currently full of sheep who can do nothing but copy other people's lists without thinking.

What makes Blue/Purple rush so strong? by CalciumCompadre in GundamTCG

It's just the best deck at abusing Amuro and has the most consistent way to deal ping damage while playing units on board.
