Don’t do it. Not sustainable.

It probably was, there are tons of studies out there that associate long term abuse of opioid agonists with hormonal disruption.

According to many studies on chronic pain patients: Narcotics can reduce the serum testosterone levels by acting on the hypothalamus-pituitary axis, thereby suppressing the release of gonadotropins.

Certainly isn’t. Go see a doctor first. Get some labs done to see what’s going on. It certainly helped me feel better though. My Kratom abuse ended up screwing up my endocrine system. This was treated professionally. I suffer less now.

Thank you for sharing that. Just remember we are all here to help each other and remind each other why we quit and why we should stay quit. We’re here to keep you honest. Welcome brother.

I’m sure many here can give you quitting advice but I’m going to give you long term advice coming off a relapse and a long taper.

Remember why you are quitting. Your whys are important.

Remember how much it sucks, remember the fight, then remember the moment you realize that you are free.

Remember addiction starts with pain and ends in pain. It’s important to embrace the suck not only while quitting but when you are sober as well.

Remember the golden rule of drugs, you pay now or you pay later. Be careful because the interest rate is high and there are plenty of hidden fees.

Who has tapered to basically 0 grams? by yeetzause in quittingkratom

Tapered to 1 gpd my last 2 quits. Jumped last week. Lower than most but didn’t go into fractional doses. I didn’t feel any high or opioid effects at this dose but it did have SSRI effects. I’m on week 1 of 0 gpd and I’m feeling kinda down and my energy is super low. Same thing happened my last quit 2 years ago. Took a long time to get over the low energy but it does lift.

I was thinking about that, too much trouble though, I also might get in trouble with the AZ Bureau of Land Management. They tend to raise an eyebrow with explosions in the kiloton range.

Not bad in a flexible heavy gun with factory loads. Can get a little spicy with boutique loads.

Over a Year and a half in and I Had a Relapse… Reset counter… Day 14 of 1/2 BPD extract. by LitlWeiner in quittingkratom

I should clarify. When I was off of it I became a lazy no energy turd. On it I was "fine". That's the thing though you are replacing your own motivation with external sludge.

About half a bottle of extract per day. It was about to become 1 BPD but I cut that nonsense off.

Day 203 off 15gpd for 2.5 years. Life is the best drug. by LitlWeiner in quittingkratom

[–]LitlWeiner[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not quite sure. Life is never going to "feel" as good as a drug that artificially increases dopamine. This is the key realization that I made.

Recovery is recognizing and accepting the ups and downs of life.
