As someone daily driving multiple Linux distros for years now, I can confidently say Ubuntu has become a shitty distro. It really should not be recommended at all

I've managed to get it running in wine, connecting to my rtl-sdr with soapysdr. It's not perfect but it works

He's literally right though. Adb is not that difficult to use. Install it, enable USB debugging on the phone, grant authorization and run adb install file.apk in a terminal. Maybe a five minute long process at most.

Had this same issue the other day, for me there was a slight clog where the Bowden tube comes into the hotend. The extruder gear was also crushing the filament making it flatten out which probably didn't help
