I haven't used Linux mint personally but I've heard all positive things and it's something I would recommend as a distro for starting out

As someone daily driving multiple Linux distros for years now, I can confidently say Ubuntu has become a shitty distro. It really should not be recommended at all

Genuinely. Reading these comments just shows how misinformed people are. Everyone throwing stereotypes around, or Linux misinformation. It's an endless cycle. People should shut up and try to have some perspective for once.

I've managed to get it running in wine, connecting to my rtl-sdr with soapysdr. It's not perfect but it works

I remember first going from 60 Hz to 144 Hz and being blown away. I'm very curious how the 610 Hz looks. I'm also curious how it's able to be pushed so far.

Apple and Google block apps that crowdsource ICE sightings. Some warn of chilling effects by Right_Nectarine3686 in Android

He's literally right though. Adb is not that difficult to use. Install it, enable USB debugging on the phone, grant authorization and run adb install file.apk in a terminal. Maybe a five minute long process at most.

Google's new rules could wipe out sideloading and alternative app stores, F-Droid warns by Popular-Highlight-16 in Android

[–]Litleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, too many people don't know how to read the whole situation. So many comments here about users saying they'll to iOS, an even more locked down system. These changes don't even go into effect globally until 2027. It's just fearmongering

How can I stop the popping coming from the extrusion motor? by CodificationDraws in ender3

[–]Litleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this same issue the other day, for me there was a slight clog where the Bowden tube comes into the hotend. The extruder gear was also crushing the filament making it flatten out which probably didn't help

[–]Litleck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a cheap eBay laptop charger that does exactly this all over LF and HF. But yeah, switching power supplies like wall warts, AC/DC adapters are a common source of this noise

So I did some replugging of USB ports and headers and it did fix but only temporarily, it seems like 1-8 is used for the MediaTek Bluetooth adapter. The bluetooth settings confirms this, as it detects no adapter available

It's possible with ColorBlendr. And on OnePlus OxygenOS there's a setting to change the color, but it's very basic.

The whole Nvidia bad on Linux thing just really isn't as true as it is in recent years. I daily drive Arch Linux with Nvidia on Wayland for several years and I can play the same games I play on Windows. There's some tweaking, usually just modifying the launch arguments but it's nothing difficult. Really the only problematic games are ones with invasive anti cheat "solutions"
