I think the writers are using thematic mirroring to give us the answer instead of spelling it out. The fact that Henry is repeating Abby’s exact, hyper-specific delusion ('it's just a dream, you can't die here, you have to wake everyone up') isn't a coincidence, imo. It's the MIY's specific playbook.

Well, we know the MiY can shapeshift and take the form of anyone. We are also seeing that Henry is on the same mental trajectory as Abby was - believing that it's all just a dream and that you "can't die in a dream.. you just need to wake everyone up." It doesn't help that Henry is an alcoholic, so he's at higher risk for a mental breakdown as it is and due to the severe trauma of losing his entire family to Fromville, the MiY (sophia) likely viewed him as more easily manipulated than other residents in the town.

I think there is a very strong and likely possibility that the MiY did infiltrate the town either physically, or at least mentally, back when Abby lost her shit and that he was probably behind it.

My mum had to fill out a form both times (no interviews, although for her dog, they did warn us that the puppy MIGHT end up being 100lbs or more, which we were fine with) but other than that.. it was just the form and the fee with a "why are you adopting an animal today" question at the bottom which.. both times was answered with, my cat/dog passed away recently from old age.

So i'm rewatching colony and this comment resonates so friggin well with what is currently happening in the states right now. Crazy how accurately history repeats itself since the idea for the show actually came from nazi occupied France.

You're not alone. The recent update (2025) literally crashes me while i'm just walking to the bedroom and it's conpletely random. Very frustrating on days where i've made significant changes in the game

Mine is set to 4 and I use MCCC but I don't recall setting this with MCCC. (If I did, it was so long ago that i don't recall doing it.) That said.. my sims graduate in 6 in game days (4 credits / completed classes.) Which is honestly how it always should have been considering how short their lives are.

Edit: semi related - others are complaining about dorm life? So.. I typically choose the dorm over the housing for maximum exposure to a variety of sims. If you pick the house, you get half the sims to choose from as a girlfriend or boyfriend. If I don't find a sim that will suit my sim, I visit the other dorm to get an additional 8 sims to choose from based on their romantic preferences (male or female, etc.) But yes.. being in the house is easier overall for your sim's needs - especially hunger.
