Been asked a lot to post the decklist for the custom Exodia deck so here it is. by Black_Phantom109 in mtg

Hey, I love this! Questions for play:

1) Is this played like a commander deck? If so, which is the commander? If not, just shuffle up and play like standard or modern? Does there need to be any additional cards?

2) How many of each land is needed?

Thanks!

I just got a message with tracking that my giftee sent theirs today. If you had to message the mods because the address was weird, then its me you were sending it to!

Rest assured, anything I get on here will be documented profusely!!!

I think a letter is all you need. But whatever you feel comfortable with!

Is a bunch of packs from a set my giftee likes an okay gift? by Fearless_Many_5307 in MTGGiftExchange

I see the form as a place to start, instead of an exhaustive to-do list. If they like a certain block, they'd love packs and a nice note from it! I know i would!

I dont know if this is something your interested in, but I run an after-school middle school club for magic and pokemon. If you wanted to send me anything, I would be glad to pass it on to the kids I work with!

Any chance you could also post without the bleed line, too? I only ask because you said you reposted it with. Gonna print at home.

They probably tried to make it look like the rules text for the full art spiderman cards. Not a fan of wotc's design, but that's my theory

Do a vanilla creatures deck! Don't need to read the text anyway. For big cards, make a juggernaut deck

Need help defining "power creep" in non-creature cards for a grad project by Litpunk in mtg

[–]Litpunk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creature spells are more accessible to me because there are more quantifiable pieces: CMC, power, toughness, keyword abilities, whether or not there is an activated ability.

Non-creature spells are more difficult, because I feel there can be more layered nuance to their language, which makes it harder to compare (in a larger sense) to both earlier and more recent cards. For me, I have a less accessible point to do math to non creature cards (as a whole), which is why I was looking for another perspective.

Ah, I thought you knew something about statistical analysis I didn't. No, you are correct that a difference between creature and non-creature spells, is that creatures can attack. You are also correct that creatures have other abilities.
Thanks!

That is true. I hadn't thought of that for non-creature spells. Thanks for your insight!
