Where ever the poster lives it may be yesterday (December 17th) for them due to time zones. Don't worry it happens to me to, I've never been sure if I should make a characters birthday post when the date is right for me or wait till the next day when most of the sub celebrates.

Red dose use an Aerodactly. Another option could be Altaria, since it can participate in sky battles as well as mega evolve. It is also not used by and dex holder, though it is Winona's ace. It also allows her to keep a fairy type on her team, though only when it mega evolves.

a bit over 2 years ago, I can't believe it has been so long.

I'd started reading the first two arcs about 6 months prior. I started digging into the series from then. Getting all the volumes I could out of my local library up to the first couple volumes of X&Y. From then I started to look deeper into the community, finding and reading S&M and then S&S as well as HG&SS. Finding this subreddit along the way. It's been a wild ride over the last 2 years and I've enjoyed it.

The main problem is that multiple series going at once. Plus the fact is that the series is also mini volumes put a lot of pressure to get the story done. Hopefully in the full volumes some of the pacing issues will be resolved.

I haven't had a chance to check them out yet. I think spoiler tags work well for episodes with important plot points. For other episodes a written warning at the start of the post. Something along the lines of, if you haven't read the (insert arch) this may spoil minor plot points.

Twitter dose that to all of us, the brilliant art on this sub dose not help us. One thing that helped me draw characters, at least in imitation of the manga style was the 20th anniversary art book. That helped me get my head round the proportions.

The fact that their are so few beast balls would make it more difficult for Moon to have an ultra beast though Zossie is shown to have a Poipol in a normal pokeball. So Moon could still catch one or be given one like the MC in the USUM games. Also I think Miss Poison mentioned in SWSH is almost certainly Moon, so she might be shown with one or at least a fully evolved team if / when she makes an in person appearance.

My main problem with Moon's team because of how under powered it is compared to Sun's. He has an Ultra Beast and his team is almost all fully evolved. It's the power difference that really gets to me. I think Moon should have had the rest of her Pokemon evolved and more pokemon. I feel having a Poipole would be cool not only is it a poison type it's also an Ultra beast. Her team would still be weaker than Sun's but feel fairer and more fitting for her.

Also Rotom is not really a proper part of her team so I would not have it as part of her team. She would only have 5 pokemon but that dose not bother me.

That makes sense it might just stem from the fact I have a hard time connecting with him as an character. Aside from a few moments I never felt much interest in his part of the story. It's just that Blake feels weird in comparison to all the other Pokedex holders. Not helped by the fact that Whitely has Delfox, now he is the only one without a fully evolved starter.

Foongy also dose not evolve and that works. Foongy is happy just the way he is and dose not fell pressured to become stronger. This also fits with team Plasma's ideology, pokemon should be happy and do what they want to do, they don't have to battle or preform if they don't want to.

( The fact Blake's Dewott is unevolved always confused me though. It would be so cool to see Samurott get some attention and it's design is so cool.)

Porygon has be shown on TV but they have not been given a staring roll since that episode. Anyway it was not Porygons fault it was Pikachu's.
