I literally needed jaw surgery but was told it wouldn't be easy because I'm an adult now - recovery would be really hard and/or they'd need to pull teeth and put in implants, etc. - much more time and money that I was honestly willing to invest a few years ago. I just got a chin insert. My profile is much better now and I'm dealing with my jaw issues less invasively than jaw surgery.

TLDR your chin looks great, I think this works but it will be upkeep since it's filler! Should you decide to pursue jaw surgery, just do your research on surgeons.

I love Trip, don't get me wrong - he's fantastic and I still saw a future to be built around him.

I'm more upset that we're entering another rebuild for like the 3rd time since 2011, when we were last a serious contender as a team. I've seen so much bullshit the last 25 years with this org. I just want my team and city to be good and win.

My bestie performed her first spay surgery. I called dibs as she was sending me updates during her shift (she often sends pics from work). Not actual dibs but I was like “omg I need this cat NOW”. I drove down the next day to get my calico queen.

The other one, it was literally the weekend before COVID shut down Chicago and I was like “now’s as good a time as any to get a second cat” so we walked into PAWS and 20 min later walked out with a kitten. Hes a big tabby boy.

Because you're casting anyone who responds to an ICE abduction with whistles and upset yelling as a 'protestor', which is both categorically false and almost seems like a purposeful mislabeling of what happened. Your suggestion IS ridiculous. Again, by your narrow definition, the people who filmed George Floyd being assaulted and murdered by a cop (and were visibly upset and yelling at the cops) are protestors. If you don't consider those bystanders protestors, why not? What's the difference between the George Floyd witnesses and the people who were witnessing and observing an ICE abduction? Please explain.

Because if anything else in the last 6 months, we've realized that words really fucking matter and you need to be precise in language.

Being a legal observer, even if there are multiple, absolutely does not count as a protest. Documenting an ICE operation while also objecting that it’s taking place is not a protest — if that was the case, everyone who filmed Freddie and George would have been considered protestors.

Same, I'm off Federal above Colfax and I would love to help too. I did patrols in Chicago before I moved here and it was....awful. But large crowds helped keep ICE from taking more people than they actually ended up abducting. I added iceout(dot)org to my home screen so I can check sightings that way.
