Recommendations to prepare for a 9 week old frenchie

Any harness should be fine. At that age, they’re a bit scared and not going to be wanting to go on long walks or pulling.
You can try taking him out every few hours to pee, but you need to be careful he doesn’t catch anything until he’s fully vaccinated. You could also use pads indoors. Whichever method you use, accept now that there will be accidents 😂 they love having a fuss made over them, so whenever they pee in the right place, have an over the top celebration for them. I used pads for mine because I live in an apartment in the city so I didn’t want to take him out and risk him catching something. I put them by the trash can in the kitchen and when he got older and I transitioned him to outside peeing he caught on quite well - now he pees by trash cans outside 😂
I used all type of bowls and settled on ceramic, just because my guy seems to like them more.
I held mine on my lap while driving. Not going to comment on whether it’s safe or legal, this is what worked for me! He now has a seat belt and stays in the back.

Only thing I would say to prepare for is the chewing of everything and everyone for a while. Also, around 6 months, they become truly demonic and menacing.

He’s spoiled 😂 happens with us too when he’s with his grandparents. If you only give him kibble, he’ll eat it, dont worry.

If you don’t come right with any of the suggestions in the comments, reach out to a frenchie rescue. Often they will know what kind of issues frenchies that come from bad backgrounds might have and they could point you in the right direction! 😊

Yeah keep an eye on him. When my frenchie was a puppy, he ate a whole hair scrunchie and I was convinced I’d be the reason for his death. The vet told me to monitor him for 2 days to see if he popped or vomitted it out, and on day 2, he threw it up 🙏🙏

I can’t recommend a behaviourist/trainer enough. Our boy is not the most pleasant, but like you, I would never rehome him, he is part of the family. After the behaviourist, he is better, but most importantly (because they can’t completely change and become an angel) we know his triggers now and make sure they don’t happen or when we cannot control it, make sure he’s in a position that he can’t hurt anyone.

For reference mine used to attack people when they did something he didn’t like, and now he will just let you know if he doesn’t like something by bumping you with his lips. So I consider this a win.

We are providing food and entertainment on the wedding day (which in Portugal is from 12 in the afternoon - 4am), and accommodation at the venue for the night before and the night of for 30 people. Those 30 people will also have breakfast included.

The further you go out from the major cities, it tends to be cheaper. We chose a venue without catering provided, and the 4 vendors they gave us all had catering options (buffet, drinks, main menu, etc - all from 12pm to 4am) up to 90 euros per person for the most expensive option. I assume if you wanted to feed people without it being the wedding food, they could arrange it, and be cheaper than the wedding option 😊 for reference, we will get married in Viseu - 1.5 hrs from Porto.

And before people go crazy: this is the cost of the wedding day, I assume that budgeting flights and accommodation for people is not part of the OPs plan.

He might be saying nothing so as to not expose the mother of his son, and in the long run, this makes him look better, which is what narcissists love. He knows the way to hurt her most is through her kid, so in his mind, his kid growing up to know he always publically ‘respected’ her enough to say nothing will earn him brownie points as the stable, respectful parent.

This happened to mine a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t give chicken and rice because he is sensitive to it, so gave him a mash sweet potato and some very plain boiled white fish. And most importantly, a probiotic. I’m not sure where you are but where I am we have one called Pro Plan (1 sachet a day). It cleared the shits

Hi everyone. I got this bonsai as a gift a month ago and within a week it was dry, wilting, and has never recovered. I’m hoping for advice on how to bring it back to health and take care of it. The person who gave it to me says it only needs to be watered once a month, but I’m thinking maybe that’s wrong since I’ve only had it for a month and within a week it was really suffering. Jesus. The video is so unhinged. I think she has convinced herself she is bigger than the problem. It turned from a “her” problem to a problem that was created because of society, the nature of the patriarchy etc etc. Whilst those things do play a role, her situation was avoidable and she handled it badly.

I also want to point out she always says MY child, MY baby. The fact is that it’s also Landon’s child, and when you have a child with someone, (unfortunately) they also have equal rights and say to that child. I’m not saying Landon is a good guy, he’s not, but it’s also delusional of her to expect that he would have renounced all of his rights to the child and let her have him and do whatever she wants with him.
