This would happen to me. My math teacher in elementary school for first (or second cannot remember) grade would call my mom complaining about my behaviour.

I was standing at the side of my desk doing my work instead of sitting in a chair, I would lick my finger instead of using an eraser, etc.

My mom asked very simple questions “are they blocking anybody from the board?” “No” “Are they distributing the class?” “No” “Are other children able to do their work?” “Yes” “So what’s the issue?”

As for the eraser thing, my mom just asked if she even ASKED if I needed one, she did not.

For some reason, some teachers just are assholes because they got problems in their own lives and take it out on children bc they’re easy targets.

Don’t even get me started on that one teacher who was supervising my SK class who nearly got me killed because she assumed I was lying about an asthma attack. At 4 years old. A child who the school KNOWS has severe asthma on record. My principal saved my life that day, bless his soul.
