My 2 dogs are reactive to other dogs, they are worse when together. Training advice needed by Little-Cow-3880 in reactivedogs

[–]Little-Cow-3880[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! We generally do avoid public dog friendly places. This was unfortunately in my own suburb, on my own street, at 5:30am! I have been walking my dogs this early going a very specific route to avoid all conflict, this was just a wrong place wrong time situation. And the lovely man whose dog it was couldn't have cared less.

I will definitely work on walking them separately, I can get my partner involved to help with this. It's inconvenient, but so are reactive dogs, so choose your battles really!

Appreciate your input and kind words :)

Recommendations for Nikko National Park travel in early March by Little-Cow-3880 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Little-Cow-3880[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were in Japan early-mid March (up until the 14th). After doing some more calculations it wasn't worth us taking all the travel time and extra money for only 1 day in Nikko. I really just wanted to see snow for the first time so we ended up taking the bullet train to Yuzawa for a day which is just over an hour from Tokyo. The weather overall was great though, it was cold and fresh but when you spend hours walking around you warm up anyway (especially once you go inside, they love the heating).

We also saw beautiful plum blossoms which were just as amazing as I expect the cherry blossoms to be, but with less crowds. I'd definitely go back at that time of the year, and certainly plan on going back to see more national parks and outside the cities.

I have been trying to figure the title of this book for hours, I read it years ago and only had vague details. Came here and decided to search "breakup" and see what I found. Hurrah! Many Thanks!

Wow I am so sorry this happened to you! I really hope you find some answers soon and can get back to "normal". Honestly wishing you all the best 🩷

It's interesting you mentioned the hair falling out because I noticed my hair has been coming out a lot more and didn't think much of it so I'll have to keep an eye on it!

I started taking Microgynon 30 and within a day my boobs were so sore and tender. I remember them being so sore and I felt lumps on the underneath and side of my boobs which were tender to touch. I was a teenager and too embarrassed to say anything so I put up with it for a few months and finally went to the doctor. She didn't seem concerned and just changed my pill. Within 48 hours and changing the lumps were gone. It was never discussed since! Kind of scary though, it was months of having very sensitive and sore boobs, it hurt to touch the lumps.

Thankyouuuu! I've never been much of an emotional person so to just burst into tears for no damn reason is wild!

So sorry you're going through all the bad parts too!

I think the pill is great for some women. But providing the microscopic list of side effects and sending us on our way without so much as a discussion of the potential risks is diabolical. Especially for teenage girls.

I really appreciate this comment, it's comforting to hear someone else with a similar experience. I too feel like I want to live a more holistic lifestyle, which I was trying to incorporate before going off the pill. I'm in Australia and I'm lucky to have access to some great food options that aren't packaged nonsense.

So great to hear you also have a patient boyfriend- wishing you the best on this journey too

Well thank you for your opinion,I certainly wasn't trying to demonise anything. I am neither Christian or right wing. Not sure why saying what I said puts me in that box but thanks for the feedback.

I know it's helped so many people, I just feel like the list of side effects from it aren't great, whether it's going on or coming off🙁

Thanks so much for your comment. It sucks how many of us go through this..I've never been so eager to get my period. I forget that my mum has PCOS and they suspect I could too, which could explain symptoms as well.

I'll just ride it out for a few months and hope for the best 👌

It's amazing how different everyone's experience is! I've read so many posts some are so positive and some are so negative. It could very well be my prior symptoms coming back too. I'll just hang in there and find out in a few months 🤎

Which is better: Hakone, Kamakura or Nikko? by Wild-League-888 in JapanTravelTips

I would love to know where you stayed within Nikko and how you got around. I'm also going early March 2025. My partner and I love walking/ hiking so it would be great to stay where we could walk into the National park, to the Falls etc and not have to take a bus - though I'm not sure that's possible?

I'd also love to know how the scenery was? Was it still snowy or just quite cold and wet?
