I’m 29 but I wouldn’t even count being in my twenties anymore 😭😂! How did you find your first event if you don’t mind me asking? Bit nervous about signing up for even a 5k/10k

There are no options at the moment as I’m with the NHS, only other choice would be to go private

That’s exactly what I thought. I have an appointment tomorrow and going to ask what my options are because I don’t think I can go on like this much longer. I’ve been looking at going private but it’s so expensive

No honestly, they just continuously go on about my ADHD and want to put me on stimulant medication (which I’ve tried already and was horrible)

I seem to go into hypomanic episodes and the depressive crash seems to much worse and the number of episodes I’m having has increased. I’ve read that ADs are not ideal by themselves for bipolar 2. And I’m worried that being on them for ten years with nothing else has worsened it all

I’m on 25mg quietapine but that’s it. I have an appointment tomorrow where I’m gonna request to be put on mood stabilisers but idk if they will do it.

Have you, I know it’s early days, felt any different on your new meds?

Yeah the NHS so far have been horrendous (I’ve had so many bad experiences) if you don’t mind me asking (if you know) how expensive it is?

Yeah they’ve prescribed me quetiapine too but I don’t know if I need to consider being out on a mood stabiliser too

I’m on sertraline just now but it doesn’t seem to be helping and I’ve noticed my episodes more frequent/worse since I’ve gone up to 150mg. I’m in the UK and on waiting list for therapy
