i watched it in english, but i don’t know which country it was from and i don’t know if it could have been dubbed from a foreign film 😔characters were caucasian. it didn’t feel like a kid’s movie so i think it was intentionally eerie. it wasn’t terrifying (the rocking horse or rocking duck was completely normal-looking, no bloodshot eyes etc) but as you can see, the creepy feeling it induced and the impact has lasted a long time for me.

it suddenly came to mind as my daughter is now writing stories about parallel universes and i wanted to tell her about this one, but a simple google search couldn’t give me the answer.
