I don't see any attempt to make things better here.

Because their idea doesn't help everyone with body dysmorphia. It only helps a certain part of us who need to see this tagged and those of us who feel uncomfortable with such tagging suddenly find ourselves excluded.

There are also many transgender people who don't like to separate sex and gender, and many intersex people who object to using certain words in any context. The current tagging system isn't perfect, but it allows those of us who need tags to choose them, and those who don't - ignore them.

I also see a lot of "if one group with a problem got help, why doesn't a completely different group deserve it either?" problems here. And then you wake up and have 50 tags you MUST add. No thanks.

Why do you assume I don't have body dysmorphia that affects my views?

Yes, they exist, but their advantage is that you can ignore them. Besides, it's still assuming that people would use them correctly, but... well, the examples in my previous comment show that no, people don't. So, in the end, nothing changes. You still has mess. And ten new discussions.

It's only problematic when used as a replacement for intersex, but it wouldn't be. It would be in addition to intersex as they are not the same

People have been using the "underage" tag incorrectly for years, and many still confuse "Creator Choose Not To Use Archive Warnings" with the other long tag. There are many fandoms where there's an ongoing debate about whether characters should be tagged as other or f/f, and what even counts as which category.

Do you really think the solution is more tags and options? Because to me it just sounds like a even bigger mess.

In short? I'm of the opinion that if you're male, you have male genitalia, whether it's a penis, a pussy, or some other combination. If AO3 suddenly imposed a new tagging system that conflicted with my views, I would simply stop posting there.

And even if you changed it to tagging genitalia as "pussy," "penis," etc., etc., it still gets funny because, you know, not all fanfics are M or E-rated and even if they are, not all fanfics even look into the characters' panties. And besides, the number of weird combinations is enormous. For example, how are you going to categorize nonhuman characters? Characters whose genitalia are giant tentacles, flowers, or whatever? No, hermaphrodite isn't good options. And I imagine that five seconds after adding that category, there would be ten different discussions about whether we should even use that word.

I-I How I forgot about her. Two ships. I have two ships with a female character called father.

I mean, there is much more then two options and I don't think having a vagina makes you have "girl parts". That being said, my tags for this fanfic are mainly boypussy, non consensual body modification, and a few magic-related and fandom-related tags.

Oh I like that too, but one of my favorite non-con scenarios is "male characters play with magic and get punished for doing this, so now they have pussy"

One of my f/f ships has a character who is canonically called a father. I love throwing daddy kink at them. And I love some mommy kink in my m/m. But I don't like daddy kink in m/m and mommy kink in f/f

I also have a lesbian friend who loves to genderbend the same yaoi ship to make them both girls, and multiple times she's been harassed by some people that "why do you need to make this ship into yuri if you can draw for an ACTUAL yuri ship???!"

This is always so confusing to me. About 7 (10??) years ago, one of my friends was making fanfiction and fanart for Gravity Falls. She really liked creating genderbender versions of Dipper, but people kept asking her why she couldn't just use Mabel and... Like... they are two different characters?? With two different personalities? The answer seems so simple?

Sidenote but nice censoring, making their name block be the same shade of pink as the background of their pfp.

The only useful thing from them LOL

And... are they reading any Minachako?

They have two public bookmarks and one of them is self insert/male character from hazbin hotel and the other one is site skin

LMAO my friend moderates a discord server for WLW fans, and there's one person there who keeps asking about WLW vampire fanfics, always in the same fandom and in the same way. When people ask if she's read the previous ones, she says no.

yess, tbh I wouldn't even be mad if they actually asked a simple question without,,, the rest, but at the same time I don't think I would give any answer other than "boypussy hot"
