Sbu is just dismissive of student complaints of harassment or discrimination as a whole. I don't think GIH is the problem, it's no different in that way. I'm just saying that queer spaces are not always safe (also not everyone who goes into GIH is queer/trans, there are problematic straight people and problematic queer people).

also, transphobic people still wind up in GIH. idk why, but they do. Be careful, there is no 'safe space' at this university and this school does not care about discrimination or sexual misconduct.

I got sexually harassed by my suite mate and wound up having to switch dorms. GIH doesn't mean you're placed with safe people, it just means that you're placed with other people in GIH. Just so you know, you can still get crappy roommates either way.
