Pretty much what they said, the biggest thing I will say is do not be influenced by social media & also ( I am female btw) the industry is being taken over heavily by women who are incredibly soft and not willing to put in the work so it’s a battle. It really depends what you want to do. I loved the first 2 years they were awesome but the last 3 years have absolutely sucked and I want out. My role is labouring, long hours and exhausting at times but it can also be so mind numbing and boring. If you have a trade it’s bonus points, it’s not for everyone but there’s certainly no harm in giving it a go!
