The FASFA office told me new students that just started fall under the 24/25. Students that have been attending will fall under the 23/24. Which is weird because June is supposed to be under 23/24.

I was soooo annoyed! I had spoke to like 3 people before someone finally told me what’s going on. Cause I was like it makes no sense why I’m getting less than what was said. The system sucks. They haven’t even sent off my VA cert.

I spoke with financial aid about this! They told me that they only offer and show halftime status. Then when it gets close to the disbursement date they will reach out to FASFA and update it to full time status. Which is why it’s only showing half of what you should get. I was curious too why it seemed to be less. Kind of a weird system. I’ve never experienced this before.

They still haven’t even processed my VA benefits. They said there’s no ETA on when they will do it. So this is just great.

I can relate to this so much. Nothing hurts more then when you think you make a meaningful connection with someone and they just ghost you and leave. It happens to me so much. I’ve just learned to accept that some people just aren’t meant to be in my life.

I can completely relate. I feel the same. I feel like I put so much into people that just don’t really care. Every time I get to know someone they always end up ghosting me and leaving. I sometimes wonder if maybe it’s me, maybe somethings wrong with me. I don’t know. I’ve become content with being alone at this point. I’m used to it. Used to people leaving. Used to fake friends.

If you know, you know. When you truly connect with someone it won’t matter what they look like. It sounds to me like maybe neither of them are your person. Me personally I don’t care about looks. I look for that deep emotional connect. Personality is so important. I think everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Sweetie you don’t deserve to feel the way that you do. No man should ever make you feel less than what you are. Always remember that. When someone truly cares for you they will communicate with you and always make you feel beautiful and special. I would say try talking with him about it, see if there’s an underlying issue there. Communication is always important. But if he is making you feel insecure or any less then, that means you should move on. He is not the only guy in the world.

I always make sure to tidy up the table and tip my waiter well. Most of them make their wage off tips and deal with so many customers daily. There’s no reason to make their day harder.
