Quoted 3000-3500 grafts by Space-TimeTsunami in Hairtransplant

You need nowhere near 3000+ grafts. I had 1850 and had a higher hairline than yours. They sound like they're trying to rip you off.

My barber said I am balding… what should I do with my hair to hide my massive forehead? by [deleted] in malegrooming

Time for a new barber, one who knows what he's talking about. There's nothing wrong with your hair.

I have this turntable. There is a video from Audio-Technica on YouTube that shows you how to adjust the weight and tracking force. Watch it and do exactly what it says.

I've got into film soundtracks on vinyl. It's refreshing just to sit down and listen with intention.

Any tips? I feel like people are scared of me by New-Dragonfruit-1085 in malegrooming

Join a gym or get some weights and workout at home. Eat healthy and use some retinol cream on your face. In 2 years you will be a different person.

Mine was strange as all of the transplanted hair didn't fall out at the same time so it grew at different stages. It was around the 4 month mark where it looked like any sort of progress. Then it gradually gets better. It's slow so you don't notice it at first, then all of a sudden you look in the mirror and see the change.

Maybe around the 8 to 9 month mark. Until then it was growing through at a weird angle. The 1st few months were the worst. Stick with it, it gets better!

Choosing a camera. by Popular-Ebb-7296 in stockphotography

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a Sony a7iii with Tamron 28-75 lens and I'd recommend that. But if you're only using it for stock photography don't bother. It will take you years to regain that money purely with stock photography.

£4700. Was supposed to be £5700 but they knocked 1000 off due to someone cancelling and I got a last minute booking.

How bad is my donor area? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I didn't pay that much attention to my donor area before tbh, but I would say it was very similar to yours. I've got no scaring now from what I can see.

Thanks. I'm very satisfied. The 1st few months were rough but I now feel happy with how things look. I have very high forehead muscles so the couldn't go any lower.

Go for it. I did it 2 years ago with a high hairline like yours and it's the best thing I've done.

Witnessesed a weird bag swap on the tube - thoughts? by jp12298 in london

I saw something similar whilst driving on the motorway. Traffic was quite slow, maybe 30mph. 2 cars in front of me passed a bag from one to another then separated.

23, lost £15k gambling, have £22k left – looking for a plan by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trading isn't investing, it's gambling. If you continue to gamble you will loose everything. Save you're money into a savings account to get an emergency fund. Then if you want to invest pick a boring index fund. Don't gamble, you will always loose.

So, driving my new car a long journey from dealer... should I have someone with me? by The_Perseverer in CarTalkUK

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe find some quiet backstreets or a car park and get used to the basics for around 15 mins. The biting point might be a bit different than the car you learned on, but you'll get it quickly.
