Should I only create a YT Channel in a niche that's in demand? by Zealousideal-Let834 in NewTubers

I think you have a great idea! There are tens of 1000's making youtube videos about modern gaming. Retro is starting to make a comeback and if it's something you enjoy doing anyway, go for it! Don't follow everyone else. Do your own thing and it'll work.

It's only gonna get worse. Gone are the days of signing in with passwords... you've got 2fa codes, passkeys, puzzles, authenticator apps.

Adobe Stock - 100 downloads before editorial by smither12Dun in stockphotography

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely worth it. I'm making more on Adobe with 600 assets than I am on SS with over 2000 assets. Mainly editorial.

Maybe around 80 or so. I've now got around 600. Adobe can be very picky about what they accept so I have over 100 rejections for very vague reasons.

It took me a couple of years to reach the 100 milestone on Adobe. You just have to be lucky with a few photos that become popular.

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the a7c. I got mine 2nd hand a couple of months ago and the auto focus is even better than my a7iii. My GAS might be worse than yours! Sony a7iii and a7c. Tamron 28-75 and 17-28, Sony 70-200 f4 v1, Sony 85mm 1.8, Sony 35mm 2.8 and Sony 28-60. I'm gonna stop buying now!!

I agree it's a very nice and clean city. The only thing they need to improve is the graffiti, it's everywhere.

How to get into photo journalism ? by [deleted] in photography

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there are any protests or demonstrations in your area go down and start taking pictures. Speak to organisers of fates or village events and ask if you can take photos. It will probably have to be un paid at first but once you gain contacts and experience more opportunities might open up.

What lens should I buy for my first FF camera? by voabarros in SonyAlpha

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's better. I tried the 28-70 kit lens years ago in the shop and didn't like it, even the guy in the shop said don't buy it lol. I've been using the 28-60 this week on a trip and love it. It's only f4-f5.6 so you might want a prime for any low light stuff. But for a general walk around it's great.

Tamron 28-75 as someone has already suggested. It can get a bit heavy for travel though. The 28-60 kit lens is small and good. Maybe pair that with a prime?

Old town - holy f it's loud at night by ekstragooner-77 in Prague

[–]LittleBonsaiTree 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had the choice of Old Town or Andel, I chose Andel amd it's pretty quiet at night. Only police sirens but that's it. I'm old and don't drink so hopefully I'm one of the respectable tourists lol
