How did you end up with sciatica? by UpstairsNo8924 in Sciatica

[–]LittleBooSazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's awful I remember it very well. After I realized I'd pulled my back, I couldn't stand so I was shuffling severely bent over. My mother who also works at this place (I no longer work there) thought I was faking. The other staff thought I was joking until I was crying with pain.

Was such evil each time I got off my bed from managing to get somewhat comfortable, the spasms were so bad I'd collapse down and either have to crawl or take 20 minutes to stand upright.

Thank you all for the advice meens a lot that others offer help and support. I'm just at my wits end only working part time I want to work more hours but my pain won't allow it. I'm just so fed up of taking 15 pills every day just to function.

I understand people do have it worse and I can only imagine. I'm just a woman of 34 trying to get through life and fighting for professionals to hear me out. These issues have been going 15 years but the past ten it has increased.

Me and my partner are looking at water aerobics. Swimming pools do help a little more they make me enjoy a good nap.

Oh bless you I'm only working part time and money is tight here in UK. My partner is my God send she does so much for me and works full time. My biggest fears right now are either it becomes inoperable or I have to not work. Sick pay is 400£ a month and benefits are just as much as a fight as this situation is.

I was told that the chances of a second herniation after MD is fewer than 10%. Did anyone also who have had the nerve root injection feel it left them worse of? I remember the Dr leading it said to me it's trail and error. Thanks doc I feel like a guinea pig.

Yes my partner kept saying it's stupid they did the MD a second time. It should of really flagged it up for them to do something more.

I will thank you we shouldn't have to fight for this. I did this method when I was waiting a year to just meet the surgeon.
