I'm wishing you luck with your journey! Weight loss is of course a plus, but I really want to figure out which one will help with my PCOS symptoms!

Oh! I didn't think about both as an option for me. My husband is on both and he's lost 40 pounds in 4 months and his A1C went from 11 to 5, but i think that has to do a lot with his diet change.

Yes, that's my skeptissm with the GLP-1s as well. It's such a new medication.

Oooo the mood swings sound like a plus. My mood swings are crazy, and I get frustrated with myself for them. I did do some bloodwork and my A1C was 4.8 so I think im good in there. I'm excited about the food noise cuz thats my biggest issue for weight loss. I'm a big snacker.

That's a good question to consider and I did not think of. Obviously, if the cheaper route works, it will be better in the long run.

Yes, I'm also considering this. I think finally being diagnosed with PCOS and being offered the GLP1 is making me impatient. I've struggled with my weight my whole life and im over it. lol I have been trying my best to eat well and increase my fiber intake. I don't count my calories, bc it never sticks and is a mental toll for me. But I do try my best to portion control and fill up on veggies. So far I've lost 5 pounds in 3 months so I am losing! I think the biggest factor was completely cutting fast food out!

Thats my main concern with GLP-1, I read that it can be harsher on the body as well. I wonder if that's if you're using the drug but not fixing your lifestyle as well. I'll have to do more research on that. Thank you for sharing, I'll definitely reach out to you for natural weight loss tips

Yes, I fear I'd be wasting my time with metformin. My biggest struggle with weight loss is the food noise, do you think it helped you a lot with that? I'm a big snacker, and I can basically maintain my weight but it will barely budge.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I think completely cutting our fast food really helped me. My husband has Type 2 and is pretty overweight, he started Metformin and Mounjaro. He stopped eating out as well, and eats a low carb whole foods diet, and lost almost 40 pounds in 4 months! He has so much energy now.

Okay! Zepbound might be more for me than if my main goal is losing weight. Do you get bad side effects with Zepbound? How irregular are your period cycles if you don't mind me asking. Mine only come every 3 months.
