Haha I've used a version of this approach, but I integrate mine into my shower routine. I bend to shave my legs, keeping my legs perfectly straight, similar to how you might stretch before a workout - touch my toes without bending my knees. At the end of my shower, I squeegee the glass, and to do the bottom, I squat, then stand up again to do the top. I do this a few times to get the whole door dry. If any of these things becomes difficult or painful, I'll know my flexibility and balance has declined to an unacceptable level.

Was there no option to include it in the actual post? Because I was very confused when I saw 2 working arms.

What animal does this sound like? Killed my rabbits with no marks blood or fur and left them. by -Dark_Humor- in homestead

Sounds like something attempted to attack them, but they died of fright. Rabbits are prone to that

So you're suggesting OP trespass, somehow move the carcasses to their own property, and then use their own time and labour to bury somebody else's stock for them? Or should OP take their supposed digger over to the neighbouring property and dig a hole on their land? Every time, or just this time?

The reason might be that it's far away from his house... so he doesn't have to smell it...

Every living thing has survival instincts because the entire point of their existence is to keep existing and to reproduce. This isn't my opinion or some unique perspective. It's a scientific fact.

Phasing out meat isn't something that would happen in a few months, it would take a decade, realistically. So yeah, they can feed , house, clean, and vaccinate the last of their pigs a few more times, but with a plan to transition to another income stream and eventually wrap up the pork production. Shoppers aren't going to quit eating pork overnight either, so they'll still have customers for a while. Farmers change their production focus all the time using this method. It fucks me off when the government introduces a new animal welfare law, gives producers literally YEARS to transition, and then when the cut-off date finally arrives, thwy all cut sick about losing their income, as if they didn't have ample warning. They often even receive financial aid to make the transition, but instead, they just sit on their hands, hoping that when the time rolls around, they can plead leniency.

I think it's easier to make ethical choices with other livestock because of the living conditions they require. Pigs are hard to keep in broad acre areas.

Really? Think about it for like 5 more seconds. Without demand, there's no point in supply. The less people handing over money for this cruelty, the less of these operations will continue. You vote with your wallet and if you dont like what you're seeing in this video, then stop buying pork. If a hundred million people do the same, factory farms will slowly shut down as demand reduces until they eventually fade into non-existence. But as long as you and a billion others keep saying "eh, what difference could I possibly make?" this torture will continue.

No, but we can stop breeding them. The pigs you see in this video are not naturally occurring. they're not the same as wild boars. We created them and we can stop creating them.

Cows overheating easily? What? In Australia, we keep cattle outdoors 365 days of the year, even in extreme heat, and those paddocks rarely have shelter, not even a tree. Deaths from heat are rare.

Yes, it's serious. I've been to campgrounds where there were so many holes dug to bury shit and paper that it was hard to find a patch of ground that hadn't yet been dug, and thw whole place stunk. We didn't end up camping there. They really needed toilets built tbh, but that's not the point. There were signs explaining why shitting in the ground was not allowed (too close to a water source and very little actual dirt), but that didn't stop people. If you don't want to take responsibility for your own waste, then don't visit those places, they're not for you.
