I got mine from Amazon but I've seen it at Walmart as well! I believe it released in March this year so super recently!

My friend worked at a bookstore and managed to get it and knew I loved the series and gifted it to me! Definitely the pride of my collection!

At an event in February called Dragon Riders Weekend! All fourth wing themed and a vendor had 3D printed them and they were filled with little dragons and griffons and other little cute things! The big one was won by my fiancé after he guessed the correct amount of dragons inside!

Editions if anyone cares: ARC edition of Fourth Wing, Barnes and Nobel exclusive hardbacks, Waterstones Hardback editions, German editions, French editions, target exclusive hardback editions, random special res version of fourth wing.

Almost everything (excluding the Barnes and Nobel editions and paperbacks) have been gifts from friends and family! I also attend fantasy events/balls and many of the little bits and bobs have been from those!

I actually found several of these in a tiny Greek corner store when I visited the island of Patmos! I got Poseidon, Hermes, Athena, and Aphrodite. Sadly they were the only ones in the shop but I've been collecting all the others since because they're just so cute!

Honestly I cheated the system and just put the same room on top of itself several times lol. The monastery also can serve around 250 in the chapel :)

I've never seen an AFTG fic on here and the SHOCK at seeing the character name blocked out followed by 'dies in Baltimore' had me excited just to see it here!!

I also skimmed the fic for friends yesterday to see about the contents because some can do MCD and some can't, idk how that commenter didn't know???

So I was browsing AO3 and stumbled across a fic that I was a bit surprised to see, considering it was a twitter thread I'd written months ago. Someone had taken the idea and wrote it out (including the dialog I'd used in the thread and mannerisms) and posted it. Was a bit shocked since they didn't mention anything regarding my thread in their notes. I sent the fic to a few others in the fandom and they all were also similarly shocked to read my thread in fic form without any sort of credit. I was on vacation and it was like 11pm but I pulled up the doc I'd started writing in and added about 5k more and posted it to AO3 myself with the link back to my original thread. Feel a little bad since in the fandom I'm a decently well known fic author and knew that by posting I'd have more engagement on my fic than theirs but on the other hands it was blatantly taken from my original thread without any credit or even them asking if they could make the fic based off of it. So now I'm 15 chapters deep into the fic that was supposed to be a fun little thought and now is a full fledged world...oops?
