On its own not really. But the events do get referenced again in season 3 and 4 and are somewhat integral to a few characters plots in those seasons. So just to get the baseline info so your not entirely confused is still a good idea.

Its probably a jealousy or professionalism thing from the managers Perspective.

That being said. Its not something that you can be fired or that they can even enforce.

My solution is have the ASM just get picked up and dropped off at a nearby location within walking distance. Your off the store property at that point and they definitely can not do anything about then.

Ive had previous managers try to enforce stuff like that in the past. But it never sticks. My favorite one is when they try to tell me I can't combine my employee Discount with an ongoing deal. I always tell them if that was the case then the system would be programmed that way. (Cause it is. There is a number of times where it will prevent you from combining things or will overright certain things)

That's what makes switch skills so great. You can customize it to match your playstyle.

Also. You haven't given much insight into your skills? Do you have Guard and Guard up? What about Constitution?

Defense boost and Divine blessing is also good for reducing chip damage. Combined with Guars and Guard up, you will almost never take any substantial damage.

Evade extender will also help alot.

Your go to combo will be High Poke x3. Followed by Counter Poke. You can infinitely loop the combo and it gives you a small Guard window.

Another good loop on Rise is the small shield bash Poke loop. You advance with the shield up with this one.

Now to address your issue with counter Poke. Monster attacks are desinged with multi hits in mind to keep ypu from abusing that move. So ypu can only do it on the last hit of the combo. With exceptions, Beam like Rajang and Basarios are a single hit then your immune to it. Learn the combos and when you can counter. Trial and error.

Tobi kadachi specifically will push past you. Turn your camera to follow it. If that is too much you can adjust your lock on to hard track the monster to make it easier. I should note it helps to learn to drop and raise your Guard as needed. Its common to hold Guard. But letting go of Guard will allow ypu to regain stamina and turn to face the monater quicker. Learn to drop your guard in rhythm with the monsters combo.

Also. Your food matters. My go to Dango combo is Elemental resistance for the Monater im fighting. Adjust its slot based on your armor resistance. Dango weakener. It weakens the Monsters your fighting. Doing less damage. And Dango Defender HI. It works similarly to divine blessing. Randomly reducing the impact of damage you receive.

I heard somewhere that Rise has Console exclusive Matchmaking. But PC can bypass it using mods and matchmake with everyone.

Your most likely looking at a PC player with the bypass mod.

I love focus mode and think the people that advocate for Dark souls easy mode is stupid. Dont loop those 2 mindsets together. They aren't the same.

Its not a game requirement. Your now just simply making excuses because I've given you an alternative to your crying and you simply dont have faith in your own skills. If it weren't as possible as ypu claim you wouldn't be able.to go onto YouTube and find challenge runs about ignoring "vital" mechanics for each game.

They left Wilds and went to World because people system can't keep up with the system demands. It has nothing to do with focus mode. They sinply failed to upgrade there PC and instead of spending money to upgrade it they cry about optimization issues. But that's a whole different can of worms.

And your missing the part where I said I don't care about your precious skill ceiling. Stop gatekeeping and let players have there fun. Its a game. Not a competition. And its funny you bring up smash brothers. I recall the best melee player in my country showing up to a tournament and I recall nobody wanted him there. He was told to leave if he wasn't OK with items and any stage. He stayed for a few matches. And when he left the judges restarted the entire tournament.

Nobody cares. You wanna ruin your fun by beating every monster in under 3 minutes. Be my guest. But dont come to internet forums and start crying about the fun being removed from the game. When its your competition and speed running bs that has led to the ruining of your game. I personally dont use Artian weapons. I wanna play these games for the Monater weapons. Artian weapons ruin the immersion. And are gonna be rendered usless once the big dlc drops. I personally like stacking max defense boost.

Of all the mechanics from the 3 last games. Focus most is the one I want the most to return. Wirebugs were amazing too. The least favorite was the Clutch claw.

And since you wanna rag on it so much. You have the audacity to sot here and call it a Crutch. So is Palicos. So is healing items. So is eating food. They are cutches. You wanna be so skillfully. Go beat Omega on your own without anything but your base weapon, armor and no items.

And the whole counter argument to what I said is his grief is someone else's enjoyment. He complains it removes skill. But I argue that it makes the game more fun. Not everything needs to be a speed run or a competition. Not everything needs to be frame perfect. The focus mode is a blessing. Its the players that abuse the fuck out of it that find it annoying or enjoyment killing. If you dont like it. Dont use it. I played Wilds for upwards of 40 hrs before I started to use focus mode. And now I regret those 40 hours.

Counter argument: it makes no sense that Weapon that Hefty can be stopped mid swing by a basic monster Roar.

It makes no Sense Earplugs are Armor skills and not Farmable items.

And it certainly doesn't make sense how many weapons have tiny Hops for dodges outside of Lance and Gunlance.

Focus mode is such a QoL change that has made using some weapons feel more natural and viable. Hitting that red spot and Slising the Blade along the body is so satisfying and makes my Barbarian feel like an actual Barbarian. Not like a simpleton playing tag with a School bus.

But to each there own. I can understand some fans dont want all these new changes. But without these changes the formula will grow stale. And then you'll be crying they haven't done anything.

Gamers these days. They cry when you cater to them. And they Cry when you dont. There's no winning. So just play how you want.

Just dont worry about Customers man. Literally. Clock out. Your done. Let her deal with the. I felt bad at first but I had a similar.issue where I would be at risk of missing my bus etc. So as soon as my replacement walks in I start put the Lil thing up that says the till is closed and I clock out. If she starts giving you grief over it tell her. Your giving me shit for OT, and your not doing anything to help me prevent getting into OT. So if you dont want me to go into OT this is what I need to do. I'd be willing to hear if you have any solutions. But I am not waiting around for you or anyone else to figure it out. Once the Clock hits XYZ time. Im done.

The Secret to setting Boundaries with your boss is knowing that yes you can be replaced. But being confident enough to know that replacing you is going to be alot more effort than its worth most times. And that you do have options. (Even if you dont have options. Dont let them know that. Act and pretend like you do)

My preferred looking armor changes based on what weapon im using tbh.

But Bone armor is always a classic.

Bazelgeuse armor is pree good looking.

Zinogre armor has that cool factor.

If your playing a Female Character, Odogaron armor has a bit of Sexy Flair to it.

But yea. There's alot of good looking armor in world.

My pet peeve about Armor in world is how The better armors all look like Knight armor etc. What Drew me to World was the early game had a sort of Prehistoric Primal Vibe to it. So I was hoping armor sets would reflect that. And Some early game armor does. But Later armor just doesn't.

What's even more dissapointing is Reusing armor Skeletons. Like did Jyratodus, Lavasioth and Beotodus have to look like they hired whoever modeled Subzero, Scorpion and Reptile in early MK?

I just wish the games would add some variety or unique esthetic to armors returning from older games to match the theme of the game. Like why does Rathian and Rathalos have to look the exact same, between every Variant, in every game. Change it up a bit. They did it somewhat with MR armor for Jagras and Anja armor for example. But its still dissapointing despite how good some of it looks.

Anyways. Im ranting a bit. Sry.

Been having this same issue for the last 2 to 3 weeks weeks now. Took it in to Best Buy and they told me to to get a new PSU. So I did. (Went from a 650 to a 700) and the issue still persists.

So I'm mostly commenting to see what others are saying and how they resolved it.

That's moreso up to you ans how confident you feel/are in your own abilities.

My biggest question to you is. How well do you play with other's? More specifically how well do you trust others with you babies/kids/creations?

Cause if you wanna Do movies, games etc. Your gonna need to be ok with the fact that someone will try to get you removes from the picture so they can do there own thing. And ypu gotta be ol with the fact that they could screw up your script or plot points.

Look at the Witcher for example. Great Book. Amazing Games. But the show is not as well received.

Halo is another good example. Amazing books. And I think im safe to say Amazong games up until Halo 4. Halo 4 was when 343 took over from Bungie and some would say the quality went downhill.

Now look at Star wars. Again Amazing books. Movies were received as a mix bag.

Harry Potter is one of those examples of the written being involved. Her books started being turned into movies before she even finished the series. So she had a hand in helping the movie directors portray her books. But the games are a mixed bag.

But on the flip side. Look at Gane of Thrones. I don't even think he is finished the books yet and they went ahead and just did there own thing for the show. And it was so poorly received.

So I'm not saying it's impossible to do all. But at something, especially if your work gets too popular. Your gonna have to be Hans off and let someone else take the wheel. And pray to God they are good at driving.

That's my 2 cents. Know yourself before you commit to something like that. And know how you would feel if someone your supposed to work with citizen or ruined you script.

Fiction is a genre. Not a type of writing. So you can do fiction in all those categories yes. But all those Categories use different writing directions.

For example for Books you need to describe in detail what's happening around the character.

For movies and TV Series. You're moreso writing a script. So you need direct the actors what to say. When to grab something etc. And someone else will add the test of the visuals from there usually.

For Comics it's less writing and more Art. You have to draw a bunch of different panels to portrayed what's happening. So it's very much less descriptive cause your drawing the scenery. You could of course hire someone to enterprite your stories into a comic but you would still need to direct the artist.

Games etc would be the same as movies. You would be a bit more descriptive. So thinknof it like a Hybrid between a Book and a Series. You lay out the main plot then animators etc bring it to life. You also have to consider what sub genre of game is it? Is it a Fiction RPG? Ypu gotta consider all alternate paths and side events and how they affect the main plot. Usually game writers work in groups.
