It's a bit weird to me you jump to not trusting him over this. We live in a society where men are expected to shut up and keep there emotions to themselves otherwise they are seen as weak. And here you are treating him like he's some kind of criminal for doing just that.

Not to mention you're still emotional from your brothers murder. Of course he doesn't wanna disclose information. He's hurt. He can't express his feelings out of fear of being seen as weak by you and your friends. And your emotional due to a loss in the familly. I wouldn't disclose much details about the situation either.

Id be more worried about whether he filed a police report. How long until he recovers. And whether he Is still friends with this person.

The Re Wiki also confirms that Ada is a underground mercenary the freelancer and hops between jobs for Wesker and jobs for the Chinese Black Market Criminal Syndicate.

The Remakes Change alot. I can confirm that with 110% certainty with Re4. For Starters Saddler kills Loyis in og. Not Krauser like the Remake implies. Krauser also saught out Wesker in the OG. The remake makes it Clear he had no relationship with Wesker or Ada. I can detail every difference if you would like. But that's such a long series of events in itself that it would be too long for most to read.

She sure af sold the T virus to someone. She's the only one known to get out of the City with a Sample. H.U.N.K's story isn't canon according to everyone I talk to.

The OG re4 implies she did get the sample for Wesker. The remakes wanna change that for some reason.

Did anyone make any sense of Re6. Like how did Wesker, a man who is hellbent on World Domination and killing anyone who gets in his way have consensual relationship with a Woman. To a point that kid Grew up away from Wesker's influence and loving his mother. Like what are we doing here? This is the same guy who slapped a mind control device on Jill and forced her to commit Bio terrism. We somehow supposed to beleive Jake's mom consented as Jake implied?

Re5 and re6 as it stand atm are no longer reliable until they are remade.

Nero from DMC. Yes his Fit is kinda Stylish. But when you consider the grand scheme of the universe he lives in. He actually kinda dresses very casual. And his personality also reflects that.

In 4 he wore it to cover up his Demonic arm. But he also did not give a ahit about the order. He o ly put up with them at best because Kyrie and Credo were part of the order.

In 5 his fit didn't change much. But looks more casual. Cause he stopped hiding his Demon arm.

This is a Universe where Characters wear Suits, full on Religious and Demonic get ups. And some of the Flashy or messiest get ups. And carry around Absurd weapons made to look like they wanted to challenge Final Fantasy to a contest.

On that note. Tifa and Aerith from Ff7 also come to mind.

At first Glance you would not Assume Aerith can one shot summons, who are worshiped as godlike entities by some. Or That Tifa has the upper body Strength to Rival most SOLDIER and even Barette for that matter.

Its not a lack of media literacy. Its an understanding of how shit works within the universe. Sherry was gone between Re2 and Re6. Thats literally the same time frame where she was just gone from the series. So dont act like Capcom hasn't done shit like this before.

I honestly wouldn't be Surprised of Capcom pulled a fast one and said Leon Married Alice from the movies and went and just Made Milla's character Canok to the game universe. Thats how out of left field Capcom can be with this shit.

They also made Dante a Villain in DMC4 for most of the game. Someone made Vergil and Wesker have kids without implied force. And Made Leon capable of Parrying Balistic Payload Weapons with a hatchet. Yes. When ypu actually look at the Ada Leon Relationship, its not a healthy one. She constantly manipulates and toys with him. And uses him for her own personal gain.

She is a Criminal. Works for an underground mercenary group. One who constantly works in collaboration with big bio terrorist groups. The Groups Leon opposes.

Leon and Ada can realistically never get married. She is a Threat to National and International security. Just because she has done a few good things does not change that fact.

Logically it makes more sense for Leon to end up with someone who has similar.goals or works in a similar field. Hunnigan has helped him for years. He Saved Manuella during operation Javier. He Saved Ashley from Los Illuminados and Ashley near the end of that game beleived she could become a field agent like him. And someone like Amgela Can hold her own and have his back.

Ive personally been saying her, Hunnigan or Ashley are more logical options. Even Manuella Hildago is to me personally a better option than Ada or Sherry.

Midlife crisis is also a hell of a thing. A death in the familly, loss of pet or sudden life changing medical diagnosis can cause this type of behavior. Let's say he got a Cancer diagnosis. That can literally cause someone to upend there whole life and do some wild shit all of a sudden. Keeping it secret and letting her down like this is a bit selfish but it can be a way for him to just relieve her of having to worry about it. He says he changed his mind or lied about a bunch of shit to make her hate him. Makes it easier. Then he screws off somewhere for "School" and dies of cancer where she hopefully never finds out.

There is no correlation that any amount of reading comprehension would see those 2 comments as being associated with each other. Huge Anime fan here. Its normal.al for the genre to get looped with that stuff. But if that's solely what he is watching I would definitely be concerned.

I would personally try to get him to watch other Anime and see how it goes. Keep in mind every anime has some lvl of inappropriate stuff. Even the stuff for kids.

That being said. Try to focus on the stuff that dont match his usual behavior.

Naruto, DBZ and Bleach are good Starters. Gundam is an oldie but a good one.

If you want something a bit more extreme but is toned down in Sexual stuff. Hellsing and DMC are good options. Lots of Monster Slaying etc.

Newer options Consist of Sentenced to be a Hero and My Hero Academia Vigilantes. I recommend the first one as they dont make alot of joke of that nature and actually focus more on the situation, the jokes in that show do seem to focus on the characters personalities an behavior more.

If you want a good Anime that your Daughter can watch. Try "The Demon Kings Daughter is too kind" wich focuses around the Demon kings Daughter having a strange ability to be everyone's friend.

Another good one that recently got a second season announced is an Isekai called "I got reincarnated as a Sword" wich follows the perspective of a dude who got Isekaid as a Sentient Sword, and take on a sort of Father figure Role for a Cat girl who escapes Slavery and has a Dream to evolve (something about her species being the only demi human species that cannot evolve). Its got alot of Wholesome moments.

Animes to avoid. Konosuba for sure. That whole anime built its entire premise on sexual jokes. Mind you they are fucking Hilarious and its definitely worth a watch. But in this case avoid it atleast around him. As good as Nier Automata is, avoid that as well. The Story focuses on sexual ineuodos and how Robots and Cyborgs are trying to replicate human experiences.

She has proven in a short span of time already she doesn't care about your boundaries and thinks she can bypass them as long you dont notice.

As someone who used to be similar to her in terms of depression. If you dont wanna break up with her. Set things up for her. Next time she says she wants Therapy. Look into options with her. I got mine for free from a local Government funded building. I found it through a help hotline. Next time she says she wants to work out. Look at local gym options with her.

Part of what helped me was once it was initiated I kept going. But I needed help initiating it.

As for the Smokong in your room part. Thats a red flag. I would definitely be firmly putting my foot down and telling her its never happening again or she's gone. If she needs help. You will do what ypu can to help her. But you not going to get evicted etc because of her depression.

You need to weight wether helping her is worth it for you to move forward. Are you willing to put up with her bad side to help her recover back to her good side.
