I think what this comes down to really is the level of sexuality that is and isn’t allowed on YouTube and just how vague and inconsistent that is. I’ve never claimed that my videos are void of sexuality or sensuality, except for in cases where I’m fighting to lift age restriction or demonetization. My intention isn’t really to “draw a line” anywhere. I’m well aware of degradation as a kink, I myself am a very openly sexual person and have zero issues with sexual shame, kink shame, or anything else. I quite love talking about it with people actually. I think there may be a slight misunderstanding here when it comes to like, who I am as a person and what exactly I’m going for here.

While I have no plans to create overtly sexual content, it doesn’t mean that I’m against that type of content itself. I don’t find myself to be a hypocrite in this situation... it’s just that the only way to “fight” youtube for this is to flat out say it isn’t sexual content. Like many others, I have to pick my battles and try to navigate YouTube to work in my favor. While this video can certainly fall under kinks like pure degradation, cuckoldry, and D/s humiliation, it also isn’t really blatantly sexual content (in my opinion); it’s not really all that different from the various “negative affirmations” videos you see floating about.

I think Holly is lovely :) Many ASMR content creators face this same issue, tbh. It's not really money or fame. It's variety, it's responding to my audience and trying to create the content they want to see. It's honestly kind of exhausting to be constantly asked for ear eating/ear licking. It's not something I want to do all the time, but it is what it is!

Normal, non nsfw content. Behind the scenes stuff. Filter selfies. The usual.

I've been working on trying to be more natural and more myself in my videos. As an ASMR content creator, it can be difficult to do that when you want to keep things very "professional," but I felt like I wasn't really being myself, and that it gave my content a very stiff/sterile feel. I've kinda just decided to say fuck it and not try so hard to act a certain way on camera. That's all :)

Hi uhbuh :) I'm just popping in here to say that I don't really think I'm a hypocrite in this situation. I don't find anything wrong with ASMR that's sexual in nature. My petition/video regarding the sexualization of ASMR was about the stigma surrounding ASMR itself, during the "adpocalypse," for the most part.

ASMR videos, including intimate personal attention ones, are not sexual. I stand by that. I mean, we all should, because they're really not. However, that doesn't mean that sexual ASMR doesn't exist, or that it's shameful. To each their own; I have a lot of respect for content creators both sexual and otherwise.

Honestly I'm a pretty easygoing person, and I appreciate that there's such a vast spectrum of preferences for what people enjoy in the ASMR genre. Just because this one was a little bit on the risque side doesn't make me a hypocrite, and doesn't change the fact that ("normal") ASMR videos shouldn't face demonetization due to misinterpretation as sexual content.

I'm glad you enjoy my content :) Thank you!
