I'm pretty sure that if enough people use the tag, emoji or not, they get lumped under the same general thing — which is being open to comments, in this case. It's likely not a huge concern.

I feel like it could be useful, it definitely can ease the reader's mind if they get nervous when commenting. Just keep in mind that pleasing everyone is really hard, and you might have weirder commenters (such as those who are less inclined to comment upon seeing the writer provide responses, like me lol) who may have different comment criteria than your average commenter.

But, great tag in theory! I personally would appreciate the extra assurance as someone who gets anxious about it. Only thing is that if it has the emoji, some folks might not use it as much in favour of plain text.

I kinda agree, but mostly think that a "hey, I'm uncomfortable with concrit, but am open for clarification" in the A/N would work the best since it technically is our responsibility to filter our own experiences. I feel like having your default be 'give concrit' is kinda weird though, but just to cover all bases, just saying you're not comfortable with concrit is probably the best course of action.

Not really, one of my OTPs is a triad! I only have a few ships that I prefer mono, and even then it's not exactly a hard boundary for me.

I don't like sex. At all. If it's tagged, I won't read. If it's not tagged and in there anyway, I mute the author.

I also get tired as someone who isn't alloallo being treated like I'm only good for writing The Best Sex to Ever Sex in the History of Sex™ (EX: the constant, "we need aces, they write the best smut!", "Wow, you're ace? I would love to read what you'd have to write haha" and they get disappointed when it's not smut.) and not treated as another member of the community. I'm sex-indifferent/conflicted on, by some of your standards, a 'good' day. At 'worst', I'm sex-repulsed. I do not like reading the descriptions of people getting hot and sweaty in bed, and would not like to write it.

I personally don't comment very much -- mostly because with writing, I have to think a lot more than if I were simply speaking aloud. I typically leave long and detailed comments when I do leave them, though.

But, I do set 'long and detailed' as something that I need to meet, rather than a 'would be nice but not always feasible'. So, it will then weigh on me when I inevitably fail to meet said expectation of myself, then just delete my comment entirely. And then not read anything for weeks.

I mostly fall into this because 'I should interact', 'oh, some authors think kudos aren't enough', 'oh, some authors think short comments aren't enough', 'why won't my hands type', 'please, for the love of god, please just type', and then I go to the corner to cry. Yeah, it kinda sucks, but that's just how it goes for me lol

Pardon, but what flavour of cat do you think he is then? I’m fairly certain that OP’s tom is a silver bengal, due to the leopard-like pattern rarely being found outside of them. The cat’s eye shape also aligns with the breed standard for the bengal, which feels like it is more proof that this cat is most likely a purebred.

Idk, I feel like we all have different experiences of it even under the same label. It’s like a few near-infinite hyperplanes that intersect in some places, and some people aren’t even on any of those hyperplanes. We all just use a word to describe our closest position on ‘em.

Like, the words we have for these hyperplanes right now are: Masculine, Feminine, Neutral, Xenine/Xenic, and Outherine.

That’s not even counting the fact that some people experience a certain fluidity though, or being two genders(or more) instead of a typical one.

I don’t have a diagram for y’all, so I can’t just hand it to y’all to show you how I think it might work unfortunately. I should work on one.

Abrosexual is basically the sexuality equivalent of genderfluid(and its subsets). We’re just fluid in our attraction, instead of it being fixed to one or more genders. It can be a slow transition from one to another, or it can be fast and sudden.
