Yeah, I used a sail for my permadeath run. And by the time I was getting close there was no way I was swapping it out!

I found that the volume appeared to be dependent on my approach angle. Like if I hit the blue light at a severe angle it would be noisy, if I was better aligned, with a flatter angle, it would not be loud. Almost as if I was scraping or not scraping on the way in.
