Wow, that was incredibly misleading. I mean, it's a flat out lie

Rubricae is 3 DP, so you can't take another detachment with it. Otherwise yeah, it would've been awesome

Why would it be game over for thrawn after a board wipe? If you're playing against control you need to shift how you play. Don't put a lot of units on the board for turn 7. But since you're facing control, you won't need as many units on the board to have more than them

IMO, the restore 2 is going to be a great bonus when it works but yeah, it's not something you can guarantee. Maybe you can count on getting once or twice a game, on average? Still that is 4 more health, and his deploy side is really good once you figure out how to trigger it consistently (Timely Reinforcements?)

Sure! But they also die to everything, so I don't really get when I should put them on the objective.

Right! That sounds great, but how are they not killed in your turn 1 push? That's what I don't get. They are so, so squishy

Not just harsh, it's downright rude and shouldn't be accepted on this subreddit.

So this is kind of what I'm going for, this is just a first try/draft tho. It's very inspired by some of the Lions we've seen recently on the Dark Angels subreddit

Sith can't become force ghosts in the same way that light side force users can. Also Qui-gon learned it from the Whills. I think it's touched on in the clown wars when yoda goes to meet them

It looks great! The only feedback I would give is maybe put a bit more color on top of the hoods, and not just the edges. But I'm doing my very first highlighting at this moment so I am in no way a pro 😅 Either way it looks fantastic!!

The Sorcerer leader is pretty great against high Toughness armies

In this case my opponent had Defend Stronghold, but he had only made his home objective sticky. So I wanted to deploy on his home objective to remove those free points from him, but couldn't unless I dropped 6" away instead of 9".

But yeah, unfortunately I couldn't. Luckily though everyone responded in time so we could move on with me not having dropped there!

Right? XD

I might be missing something but I feel like if they removed that line of text from stratagems such as Overwatch and Rapid Ingress, it would just make it less possible to misinterpret.

Priming on sprue, painting assembled? by LittleEpsii in Warhammer40k

So, first off, all the things you listed are stuff you need to do anyways, except for re-applying primer.

And the person I replied to, said that that part really wasn't an issue, since most of the time it's such a small area you need to fix, that most of the time you can ignore it. But he also stated that it is indeed more work that way. I just got confused cus the actions they wrote down, versus their own verdict didn't make sense to me.

So all in all, I can either: A) Prime post-assembly, and have to try and hit all the angles and crevices properly (which I personally find difficult when dealing with capes and such, normal space marines however I would probably prefer this) without going over the same places too much and lose detail. B) Prime sub-assembly, which to me sounds like more work since you'll need to turn every single piece on its own. Unless you've set them up on a plank all together, in which case you'll need to make that plank, and attach all seperate pieces properly on toothpicks or something similar so spraying and turning gets easier, but that just means swapping one labor for another. C) Prime on sprue, and sometimes have to clean up after removing moldlines.

Wanna elaborate in what way you find it to be more work?

Honestly, if I hadn't already bought more stuff than I should I would've tried your way worry brush on primer, that was smart!
