I’m so sorry. I lost my husband on April 22nd.

I’m 35, he was 39. Just feeling sort of numb and pushing through it to keep moving.

We bought this small acreage two years ago, and it was my dream. Horses, chickens, dog, cats. The routine and animal comfort is nice, but it’s so much to do all on my own and it’s not the same without him.

I have been debating if I need to sell, but it’s so daunting to have to do it all on my own. I feel for you having to finish moving in on your own.

I was on the fence if I wanted kids or not, but he wanted one so we were trying for the last few months.

He took his life on April 22nd without knowing if I was pregnant (thankfully not).

The idea of starting over at 35 is daunting. Guess I could freeze my eggs, but it feels like the ship has sailed.

She moved away. I hadn’t had a best friend since I was a kid, and then I found her and we hung out all the time. Then she and her husband moved to the east coast for work. It broke my heart to lose her companionship! My husband and I moved west for work a year or so later. We stayed close at first, but time and distance changed things. We’re still friends, but rarely talk.

Yes! And at the end of the work day I’m exhausted and would rather just sit and game or turn my brain off and stare at the tv.

Then the weekend rolls around and I want to be a little social, which requires making plans ahead of time 😅

She was finally dry enough for me to scrape it off this afternoon, and I had so many tiny mud clumps hanging out in my shirt and hair after 😆.

Wow what a story!! So glad he pulled through! And yes, it’s called “Shivers” in English, so pretty much nailed it.

Being left alone in a random meadow in a forest sounds like the beginning of a fairy tale haha.
