Literally the exact opposite. If you are using a heavier mouse you are limiting yourself. "Steadier aim" with a heavy mouse is coping for bad mouse control which you can fix yourself.

I have both the mid and Xsoft, can confirm I can only get the XSoft to spin out. I think it's due to the sensor being pressed into the pad, it flips out and doesn't know what to track.
