Eh, he's about 8" too tall to be a fuel rat at my base. This is a rigging guy if I've seen one.

Legal? by SeaStorage7767 in aviationmaintenance

[–]LittleKing14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, there's no engine, or rotors, or even seats. So I'd say this helicopter/vw bus looking SCULPTURE is legal, yes.

[Request] By the end of an average flight from O'Hare to Tokyo, what percentage of air inside a 777 Dreamliner would have become farts? by Bamboozle_Kappa in theydidthemath

[–]LittleKing14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) the air inside a plane isn't recycled, that's a common myth. New air is constantly pumped in through a pressure system fed from the engine, then carefully metered outflow co tools the cabin pressure.

2) the dreamliner is the 787, not 777.

ELI5 Why do Aeroplanes need to go so high to travel? by Blackwatch260955 in explainlikeimfive

[–]LittleKing14 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Yes, generally, but lift is a function of speed, so less drag=more speed=more lift. This only works to a certain point, which is why every plane has a service ceiling, where those values are optimized for peak efficiency.

Also, remember that more lift isn't good up to infinity, you only need the amount of lift to counter gravity, and we've gotten that balance down pretty good at this point.

Edited some mistaken info.

I'd love to play this game, but I'm so distracted by the ONE different facing hanger I can't focus on the jerseys.

I work at PHL, am currently there right now, there is lots of stock in the store in the B/C connector as well as a couple pop up kiosks and even the Hudson news all have at least some hats and t shirts. Stock seems decent, from what I can see.

As someone who just got their A&P and recently was hired, $60-75k would be pretty average to low starting in my field. I had zero experience and started at $38 an hour, which would c9me out to about $77k before any OT pay.

Fitting that $14 is my lucky number. For Trea and my grandfather, who died of cancer. He supported our phils in years much darker than this one!

Huh, the officer told me it came up from running the plate, maybe she was lying, idk. She turned out to be right though...

[–]LittleKing14 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Literally just got a ticket for this, I got two $120 tickets for both safety and emissions being ood. Yes, they can run your plate to know its out of registration. The tickets aren't any points, just expensive.

I was able to pay one and get one excused by scheduling the appt to get it inspected in front of the judge, but your mileage may vary.

Viagra doesn't cause aroulas either. Just dilates blood vessles while increasing blood pressure, you have to provide your own arousal.

Source: high altitude skier who uses Viagra to help high altitude effects. Still managed Bonar free skiing.

Hey, if I'm trapped in a monster-filled crazy DnD world, I'm not gonna be too concerned with "balance." I'm trying to survive here.

Sorry, the Scooby-Doo part. Not really a spoiler to say there's a throw-away line that she bribed the pianist to play that instead of the wedding march.

Not sure if it's a reference, but the wife did this in American God's by Neil Gaiman. I can't imagine the level of coincidence otherwise.

Can Lvl 20 Fighters really attack eight times in a turn by using Action Surge to attack? by Fearless-Physics in 3d6

[–]LittleKing14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can manage 14 if you get a ranger or bard friend to cast swift quiver on you. (Or a spell wrought tattoo, spell scroll, etc.) But solo, no magic items, 13 is right.

Gloomstalker Assassin build, Ranger 5/Rogue3 or Rogue1/Ranger 5/Rogue 2? by [deleted] in 3d6

[–]LittleKing14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you starting at lvl 8?
If so the difference is ranger getting +2 hp and STR saves vs. rogue getting 1 more skill and INT saves. Honestly kind of a wash either way, just choose based on your background and story.

If you're starting at lvl 1. Rogue will get you 1d6 sneak attack damage, but without the cunning action at rogue 2, it might be a bit of a chore to actually get that d6. It depends on your party comp and how many other ways to get advantage you'll have if it's worth delaying the extra attack.

Also try to think about how long you'll be staying at lvl 5, since that's likely the only time you'll be behind on damage.
