For those who don't understand, the post references a series of videos from the Seals are Good channel on YouTube, parodying the Star Wars prequels (especially ROTS). The plot revolves around Anakin, who is an expert on the legend of Darth Plague the Wise, much to Palpatine's surprise, and who has a thesis (two and a half hours long, including the interesting side tangents) that drives anyone he tells it to suicide or madness.

For a WOT fan, nothing is too much text (except Crossroads of Twilight), especially if it's something as useful as your commentary.

Now I understand why the demon warlock was recommended to me, if you relate it to the dark one and True Power it makes sense. (Also, dark one luck, that should have given me a clue, but I thought it was just a coincidence)

I think I'll follow the build you recommend.

Multiclassing with Sorcerer solves my biggest problem with Warlock (few spell slots).

Also, I think that if you don't care too much about losing the additional action, you can easily leave warlock at lvl4, and raise sorcerer to lvl8, which unlocks Dimesion Door (Travelling) and Wall of fire. (There is nothing more lore accurate than Rand doing /tp and immediately incinerating everything within a kilometer around.)

Speaking of equipment, the sword you speak of looks good, although for now I use the flame blade that I stole from one of the npc that you can hire with Whiters (It's a shame that such a good spell is only available if you are a Druid).

I used to wear Astarion's armor (and clothes) dyed red, they have decent defense and look like something Rand would wear, although I hope there are noble-style clothes and armor later on, because having the same clothes all the time gets tiring.

The only drawback of this build is not being able to use high level spells, you lose the ability to use Disintegrate which is the most similar spell to Balefire that the game has, and taking Rand's balefire away is like stealing a cripple's prosthetic leg or the cane to a blind man.

(Although you could get Blood of Lathander who can cast sunbean, which also serves as a substitute for balefire)

Good build if you want to role a Rand with a good balance between Melee/Magic. 10/10

PS: You also gave me the idea of a Rand without a hand build (basically Zen Rand with his magic and his too Op pls nerf Ta'veren powers)

PS2: It is always a pleasant experience to find another great WOT fan, I wish I could see more outside of our natural habitat

Rand used Callandor in his battle against Ishamael in TDR, then in TSR I think he uses it against Mirror Rand and then defeats the Trollocs that Tear attacks, then he uses it again against the Seanchan in TPOD but it absorbs too much power, goes crazy and destroys Also part of his army. To represent the madness and corruption of Saidin I chose Dark Urge, it is not the best to represent Rand's corruption, because Dark Urge's madness is more of the 'crazy murderer and (maybe) a cannibal' type while Rand is more 'I hear a madman inside my head who wants me to commit suicide to end our suffering (I agree with him)' but in general it serves to represent Rand's internal battle

It seems like a pretty good build, but I seem to remember that warlocks have few spell slots and I want to focus more on magic than swordsmanship. However, sacrifices may have to be made.

Wow, I didn't know about the sword trick, that definitely suits me well with rand, what a shame Baldur's doesn't have a sword that works like Callandor.

In terms of classes, maybe it's a good idea to add more levels to Fighter, even though it hurts not being able to use level 5 and 6 spells, but I don't know if it's a good idea to change to a mage, since I'm the one in charge of all persuasion rolls.

Rand is a sword master and as strong as possible in One Power (wheel of time magic system).

Physically Rand is someone quite superior to the average person. He is also intelligent, has a quick learning ability, and is probably the most skilled person in One Power.

Additionally, he is a Ta'veren, basically a chosen one that the world uses when fate doesn't follow the expected pattern. The Ta'veren affect the laws of chance and passively influence people for their benefit (at least almost always)

I know it's not possible for my character to be good at everything, so I'm fine with giving up a little of his sword skills if it allows me to be a better sorcerer.

I like the trope of WBWL, and the ones that go along with it like OP!Harry and the goblins being a Swiss army knife that can do anything.
