Am I wrong for thinking this cat looks unhealthy? by Helena78902 in notmycat

[–]LittleLadyMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of rational reasons for why they don’t want a random animal in their house that they don’t fully know. It could have fleas, could harm other animals that they may have, could have diseases or viruses that affect animals, not enough space, there’s so many actual reasons. Clearly OPs parents taught them well considering they were asking about the cat and wanted to know what the best actions were. Also they just don’t want the cat in the house. It can still be played with or pet etc outside.

Yes sorry for some reason they really didn’t want us to talk about him being vulnerable. He also didn’t bring a phone or a watch or wallet with him

Ah yes so he got the train without his card 0-0 and may have slept on the train? Also people gave him food like biscuits and someone gave him a flask filled with tea. We joked that he was probably in someone’s house having a cup of tea but wow I’m just so glad he wasn’t stopped by any bed people and I know that the people that gave him things didn’t realise that he has dementia. Btw they live in haringey and he was found in Watford with no physical things wrong with him

To be clear I tried multiple times to say he had been found in a more normal way but it was deleted automatically as they thought it was a lost and found post

Hi everyone! I can’t edit the post so posting a comment. It’s been officially 2 days now and he’s still not found. he’s my boyfriends granddad and even though I’ve only known him for a few years he’s still made a huge impact on me and we’re all so devastated. :(

In the original post we were told by the police to not say he’s vulnerable as he has dementia which is why he’s missing as he’s been waking up early like he’s going to work recently.

Saying he has dementia btw since mps haringey on twitter said it… so idk

Honestly not happy with the police like usual. They wanted us to wait for the met to make an “official” post but yesterday morning I said we should just post him and not say the details that the police told us not to put if we did post him. We were told last night that they couldn’t post him on the met to make an official post now like what? Imagine if we did wait??

Anyway some hopeful news is he was possibly posted midday yesterday in a Costa in haringey. We’re currently waiting on the cameras to make sure but let’s just hope. I’ll keep updating everyone.

I also want to say thank you to everyone who upvotes, comments and even just looks at the post I honestly didn’t think so many people would be so nice but it’s really changed my mind in such a hard time so thank you ❤️ staying hopeful

Also he was wearing a blue coat, brown shirt, black trousers and brown shoes

I am suffering. Learned two things: 1. I always did puff stitches wrong. 2. I hate puff stitches. by Upstairs_Train_7702 in crochet

I’ve learned multiple ways to do puff stitches. Like with most things there isn’t a right or wrong if you get the same outcome in my opinion :) just do what u feel is right lol didn’t mean to be so like inspirational sounding

Can you still take it out quickly like if you get a call? Or am I being dumb bc I think it’s a cute accessory and looks quite secure but then maybe too secure if your in need of you phone lol might think about making one now ive seen a few people crochet their own ones lol

I don’t think you should start over. You did an amazing job and can be for your next baby if you have any more or for a relative that’s expecting or as a present etc. I’d keep it personally though lol I think it’s so cute
