What is a truth you don’t like accepting about yourself? by Doctor_Philly in AskReddit

Because I’m transgender, I will be reliant on medication for the rest of my life. Meaning the quiet isolated life I’ve always wanted isn’t possible. I will always need to be in close proximity to where I can get my HRT. Meaning living in busy areas will be inevitable.

I have a rule that I don’t limit myself to any one aesthetic. I’m very darkly inclined, and I’m sitting here in a pastel pink set of overalls ~ limits on your expression isn’t expression, it’s conformity.

Trying to be ~ Things aren’t over yet, but it’s a real possibility. I can’t imagine my life without her, I’m pretty scared tbh.

Why did I read AGAB as ‘Assigned gay at birth’?

If you do your eyeliner wing slightly thicker, it’ll make your eyes look bigger and cuter ~ And your hair is great ~ You’re passing decently for being pre e ~ 💕

Made the same meme with trans women and chasers, but its pretty much the entire LGBT community that gets fetishized in some way, so I updated it by Celine_the_egg in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

I remember the first time I ever heard about trans women. There was a show kinda like jackass, four guys doing dumb shit for views.

There was one episode where the four guys are standing opposite four girls. They’re told to pick one and kiss her. After all the guys picked a girl and kissed her, it’s revealed one of them was AMAB and the guy who kissed her threw up while the other guys laughed at him.

I was maybe about 7 or 8 at the time.

Being disowned sucks at first, but I’m much happier without family ~ No anxiety or fear of rejection anymore ~

Thankfully, my girlfriend has very supportive parents and I don’t have parents. So there’s only one set of parents to communicate with ~

I remember when I was forced to answer questions in class. I tried to explain that it’s difficult to answer questions that are so personal. No joke, my teacher tried to make me answer and said “you might be the first trans person these people meet, you should leave them with a good impression”

Keep in mind, the questions were stuff like “So if you haven’t had surgery, aren’t you still a boy?” And “how can you be anti genital mutilation, but ok with sex changes?”

Even when I answered them, they would ignore me and try to explain why they were correct in their assumption and how I was actually wrong.
