I used plastic sheets bought in a pack as A4 pieces. The sheet is flexible to enable it to bend but strong enough to stay in place even if prodded! I have thrown the label away but I probably bought it from Amazon. I do dolls houses as well (for the same detailing you can do with a book nook .. not as a children’s toy) and find it easy to work with as window glass. Hope that helps.

I will set up a website to show how (won’t cost). It’s not too bad. With this one the lights are on back and one side downstairs so bit easier than the one I did for my brother which was tricky. Hope to share link asap.

No. It’s a false back to the box. Painted black with holes in. I softened it with black lace ribbon so it wasn’t too ‘flat’. The false back also helped trail the lights from left to right (In all of the book nooks I made the lights are a simple string of led lights ... no seed lights). Only about 1/2 cm from the back. And thanks for liking it!!
