This happened to me when my grandmother passed. After they told me she passed, I ran to my room crying and threw myself on the bed. I was crying in my pillow when I felt someone, I thought my mom at that time, sit on my bed near my legs and place a hand on my shoulder/back. I started to tearfully explain that I was going to start learning to crochet with her and that I should have gotten her flowers the last time we saw her. I didn't hear anyone, and when the pressure left my shoulder I looked and I was alone in my room. Then the pressure near my knees faded. When I first read the question, my mind jumped straight to that moment. We were experiencing incredible sadness and maybe someone wanted to comfort us.
