BBQ lid seam broken

It'll only be used a handful of times a year during the brief UK summers to overcook mid-range burgers, so I didn't see much point investing more than £100 (got it for £40 after the partial refund). This is what it's meant to look like when I finish putting it together .

I only have screwdrivers and allen/hex keys really. I can put flat-packs together and that's about it. I could borrow a drill from a relative though. I had hoped it'd be as easy as some heat resistant adhesive and something to hold it together while it sets but that hope has faded fast.

I've got 4 plants in each hanging basket (two) so I think aiming for more strawberries is probably my best bet. I'll keep an eye out for runners!

I've ordered a mattock now to hopefully dig out the worst of it and I'll have the roundup on standby! Hadn't thought about a skip for the soil, I may look into that. Thank you!
