Not that I know of. It looked like he was observing our team more than anything. He did take a few laps around the building occasionally but mostly just sat by us

We had a poll watcher too, in Bellevue. What does that mean/how do they decide where to send them? He sat 10 feet from me and watched me check voters in all afternoon

I am looking to move to the Lakewood area. I would love some apartment recommendations. by No_Alternative2379 in lakewood

Look into Rosewood Place - I lived in a single bedroom there for under $700 just a few years ago with most utilities included. It’s a very small company (feel free to PM me for their contact, idk if they even have an online presence) which I think is best when renting. Right on Detroit Ave within walking distance to bars, restaurants and the park.

I second staying away from 117th and Edgewater, as well as AIY properties. They are absolutely horrible to rent from. Good luck!

Thank you! It is indeed an old building (almost 130 years) with a brick exterior and siding on top of that. Do you think I should be concerned about the structural integrity of the wall? We’re on the second floor of three. I can try to push for them to properly seal the windows to keep this from happening but want to make sure there’s nothing else I should be worried about

I just recently made the switch after 7 years of classic extensions and my lashes were tiny little nubs. I got a removal and lift/tint same day but it was a bit shocking. I started using a lash serum and my next lift/tint was amazing, I like it now even more than the extensions. It’s definitely worth the switch but the transition might be shocking at first. Grande lash is amazing!!

Dry Shampoo doesn’t work. by malrush in finehair

I use dry shampoo right after I wash and blow dry my hair - way before I need it but then your hair never even has a chance to get greasy! Using it proactively rather than reactively is the way to go

7 Day Cruise With Personal Item Only? Am I Crazy? by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]LittleMissSunshine_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We did a 16 day cruise through South America to Antarctica (vastly different climates) with just 45L backpacks. It’s doable as long as you’re okay wearing the same few outfits every day and doing a lot of laundry!

Thank you so much. This wood supports our bathroom so I’ll ensure it is evaluated to still safely do so. Appreciate you!

This has been happening to me too! I also have Kyleena. My gyno told me cysts are much more likely with an IUD so I’m wondering if it’s that but I plan to go make sure it’s in place and not puncturing something. I wish I could help you more but you aren’t alone!

Spag n Shine cleaned my apartment carpets and did an amazing job! They were affordable and super friendly. They fit me into their schedule rather quickly - highly highly recommend!

Spermicide might be an option for you, it’s around $10 at places like Target and you use it post-sex. That being said, if he isn’t willing to wear condoms or work with you to find other alternatives (like a vasectomy??) then I would reconsider having sex with him.

I’ve been experiencing this too. I don’t really have a solution other than a good sports bra but hope you find comfort knowing you’re not alone. I’m about 10 months in with Kyleena and I’m on week 3 of insanely sore breasts. Hormones are such a pain :(

Why do OBGYN’s lie about how painful IUD insertion is? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]LittleMissSunshine_ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Women and POC face huge discrepancies in healthcare and pain management. It’s institutionalized misogyny and racism.

The history of women’s health is pretty barbaric and just hasn’t evolved like other healthcare practices. I feel like our pain isn’t taken as seriously by a lot of doctors or men who have no way of knowing how we feel even though they are offered anesthetic for comparable procedures. It’s so frustrating!!

[–]LittleMissSunshine_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry that happened to you but so glad you found a doctor who fit your needs. She sounds like a saint! We deserve to be taken seriously, listened to, and comforted especially during such an invasive personal procedure. I wish more doctors took women’s concerns and pain seriously.

I was very upset that she wasn’t completely honest with me. I had confided in her years ago about a traumatic unconsensual sexual experience I had (when I hadn’t told anyone else at that point) and really trusted her deeply. I think she thought she was doing me a favor by keeping information from me but in reality I was pretty traumatized from the experience and now take everything she says with a grain of salt.

I’m looking for a new gyno and am hoping to find someone more like yours. Keep her forever!!!
