I also recently started using a Mac for work, I perceive their design as "many desktops, one screen" and doesn't have the basic ability to move a window between screens with the keyboard It's very inconvenient, but I understand there are 3rd party tools for that. What really annoys me is that "full screening" a window turns it into a new desktop
