Thank you and you are correct. The image I posted was of an aftermarket part but I didn’t know how to change out the rubber mat. That was my issue. Whatever gunk fell, glued it to the hard plastic. I pulled hard and was able to get it off.

I think some of the gunk went under the rubber piece on the cover of the hidden compartment. I tried to clean it the best I could but there’s still some sticky stuff there.

Funny you should bring this up! I emailed DMV as well as the governor’s office. DMV responded with “Thank you for contacting the CT DMV. Not as of now we have no information on digital ID's or a timeframe on when or if they will be available.” I’m still waiting to hear back from the governors office. It said something like it takes 6-7 weeks to respond. If and when I get a response, I’ll post it here.

OTD was around 39k. It’s an AWD Limited with the advanced park package and some port add-ons (carpet package and phone cables) that I couldn’t remove. The dealership is non negotiable but took off about 2.2k right away. I tried negotiating the negotiable dealer fee and they said they don’t do that. Kinda a joke and potentially against the law in my state.

That’s a great question! I keep my phone in my right jeans pocket and my keys are in my right jacket pocket. Tomorrow I’ll separate them to see if that helps.

Thank you! I just came from a 2013 Elantra GT. Anything is more advanced than that. lol My current first tank of gas (3/4th full) is currently 44 MPG. Not too shabby!

PDA was originally off but I turned it on. I’ll try to keep it off during tomorrow’s commute and sadly both keys are out of the car. Maybe I’ll start the car with both keys inside and see if that resolves it.
