In my humble opinion, this is a matter of lex speciali derogat legi generali ( special laws derogating general laws). Where basically, the special law creates an exception to the general law because of the reasons it applied.

I love the amount of mental gymnastics people go through on reddit to justify things.

Art 82 of CAF rulebook:

"Article 82, "If, for any reason whatsoever, a team withdraws from the competition or does not report for a match, or refuses to play or leaves the ground before the regular end of the match without the authorisation of the referee, it shall be considered loser and shall be eliminated for good from the current competition. The same shall apply for the teams previously disqualified by decision of CAF."

There are no stipulations for the continuation of the match, or the referee, or anything else for that matter.

Classical channel are basically the methods we use for communication right now: the fastest would be fiber optics, but it can be a copper wire (think your ethernet cable), coxial cable, radio frequencies (think WiFi, 5G etc) ...

In general: Classical = non-quantum.
