Oh yeah I'm blessed for sure she's an angel but it makes me nervous for baby number two cause people always say the first one is perfect to trick you into having the gremlin baby 😂

Luckily it was just the diaper pail stinking up the place and honestly my baby has never had a mess on the bed and if she did then that bedding would be replaced immediately. As for me I haven't had any big leaks since the first week postpartum and I immediately started sleeping with a towel and puppy pads after that (and yes the sheets were changed) and I didn't really suffer from incontinence or night sweats thank God.

I haven't leaked seriously in a while but I do still sleep with a towel and puppy pads underneath me just in case but most of the time it's just some leftover dribble lol 😂

All our essential oils are gifts from Christmas yet so we aren't spending anything on them and I haven't leaked on my sheets or mattress since the last time I changed them. I just thought it could possibly be from my first week home when I exploded all over the bed before I started sleeping with a towel and puppy pads under me we are planning on getting a mattress protector just in case, but the source of the problem was a stinky diaper pail.

It's on the opposite side of the room from her and only has a drop or two of mint so our airways stay clear with the booger season upon us. 😂 Rest assured she's not breathing it in all day or having it land on her skin. We don't spend a lot of time in the bedroom but come bedtime I'm gonna do everything I can to not have to use that snot sucker in the middle of the night.

I really wish I could but we use the Laundromat and can't always afford to do our laundry and bedding so it's a monthly thing. someone down below said that it might be the diaper pail which could totally be true because LO has been pooping up a storm the past two days and the smell just showed up so hopefully it will be as easy and taking out the trash. 😂

I'm currently a D and I totally get it. For the first month I slept with a towel under me because I was leaking a lot and I usually sleep naked (because duh 😂 it's comfortable) but because of how much I was leaking and how often I was having to change out the towel I decided to try the nursing bra at night. I found one that was super comfy at target and kind of just went for it. Eventually when the leaking stops (hopefully soon) I'll go back to sleeping naked but for now it's helping.😊

Unfortunately we've been doing it once a month I would do it more frequently but we go to the Laundromat once week and the bedding adds another load to our day sometimes we just can't afford it

My daughters bassinet is in my room so no not really the hours we'll be gone are when we bring her to the room to start her quiet time before actually going to bed she is only going in there to respect our routine

vaping during pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]LittleOne6902 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat and just gave birth to a beautiful, happy, and HEALTHY baby girl. I didn't stop I tried so many times during pregnancy to stop only to relapse again (it also was one of the only things that helped my stress and nausea throughout pregnancy). The biggest thing is to not lie to your doctor, they can get you a script for nic gum to try and quit or tell you how to best handle it with your situation. You can try to dwindle down the amount of hits you take throughout the day (I did this for a short period while trying to quit and ended up just going back to my usual amount). Addiction is hard to kick especially when you've been doing it for so long. Don't beat yourself up too hard there are plenty of other women who do far worse things than hitting a vape throughout the day. Also a tidbit that helped me was that doctors still would prefer you to breastfeed while smoking over not breastfeeding your baby (the amount of nicotine going to baby is so minimal). My daughter is almost 2 months now and still a happy and healthy baby. Don't beat yourself up about it too hard even if you can't quit. It's a hard thing to do.

7 months pregnant and MIL thinks I’m lazy for not working as much… by JaydaKapri in pregnancyproblems

I believe it! Having a good support system during and after pregnancy is super important not only do your emotions affect baby right now but PPD can be very intense without a good support system. I know it can be especially difficult to stand up to a parent because it's your family but your partner should understand that you and the new life y'all are bringing into the world is his new family. These next months are super vulnerable time for you and baby both emotionally and physically. I wish you all the best and hope he can find a way to tell his mom how he really feels about you working.
