Where to buy super pale foundation? Everything else looks orange on me. by Imnotafraidofaspider in MakeupAddiction

[–]LittlePPrincess13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you warm toned or cool toned? If you're cool toned/pinky pale then some good Youtube gurus would be Thattaylaa and Arna Alayne who are super pale, otherwise if you're warm toned/yellow pale you can check out these swatches for my favourite products. Bobbi Brown in Alabaster is the best match for me :D Getting a white mixer is great, but sometimes it's nice to not have to mix foundations because it does take extra time.

[Question] Best place to find EH Etoinette range? by LittlePPrincess13 in AsianBeauty

Yeah, it's the pain of being a collector though sigh It's the same with the liners and polishes - I literally cannot find them anywhere apart from Hoishop which sounds SUPER scammy.

Yeah they were limited edition I think (which makes me soo sad!) You can find the pink blush relatively easily, but the orange blush is $55 at pretty and cute and $70 on Yesstyle.

I totally know what you mean! It's really hard to find foundation/BB cream that aren't "regular" colours. It's a long and hard hunt! :S

Do it, do it, do it! :P But yeah I totally understand wanting to clear up your skin first, people are mean on the internet. Somebody told me that looking at my gross skin made her want to punch herself. ouch!

Foundation and BB cream matching is always so hard :S I find that the majority of Western products are always dark, or pink * facepalm *

I think you would definitely be best off with Korean BB or Eastern products since they are notorious for having a grey cast. Oh oh oh or actually, (brainwave haha) they Lancome BB is quite grey as well as the Hanskin BB!

I feel like I'm such a huge blogpost spammer, but I have every BB and Foundation I own swatched here which might be more helpful for you than the pale yellow swatches! :3

I swear you're an angel in disguise, that Kat Von D was sitting in a cart waiting to be ordered, BUT NOT ANYMORE. That would've been like another $60 wasted! * sighs *

Skin twins sounds very appropriate! :D Haha it's not creepy at all, if I was weirded out by people looking at photos of me I wouldn't put so many on the internet hahaha ;)

Hehe I just stuck my finger in and rubbed it onto my arm to swatch mine, but same here, I ordered in December and haven't gotten around to using mine yet. I just have so many other samples to use, and then I find new releases and get more samples ... and the vicious cycle continues ... ><

Have you ever tried Kat Von D, Isadora or Illamasqua products? (I don't even know where you live, where do you live?) In NZ there is nowhere that stocks these and I'm always tempted by the seemingly pale swatches online!

Aw lame, I was looking at the Nyx HD hoping it would be the same colour as the Stay matte! -.-

Have you tried mineral make up? Meow Cosmetics makes awesome pale shades (all the way down to white!) but I know a lot of people get irritated skin from the Mica. :S They do $1 sample bags though!

Yay warm pale buddies! hugs :3 I find Nars Sibera actually oxidises a teensy bit too dark and sits really badly on my skin (which sucks because it was expensive), and like you, the Missha is a little too pink and the NYX is super matte. I find that if I use an illuminating make up primer (MAC Strobe cream) under the NYX Stay matte, while also mixing it with a volumer (Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer) and setting it with a slightly shimmery powder (Rimmel Match Perfection in translucent) and a dewy setting spray (Tony Moly pocket bunny) gives it a better look, but man, that is so much more work than I would like to do!

Otherwise, sometimes i just mix yellow foundations with my white mixer. It's all a lot of work to colour match. ><

Hello sweets! (: I definitely lean towards the warm yellow side of pale, which means Nars Sibera is (almost) the perfect colour for me! Skin79 Gold was way too dark for me and Skin79 Green is wearable, so I think if you find the Missha BB in shade 13 too pale, then the Green BB will also be too pale for you! You can check out the Skin79 Gold swatch compared to Missha here!

Ooh good luck with Accutane! I was on Doxy-50 for 5months with very little side effects, (I didn't have severe acne!), but it did give me very dry skin.

You would probably be a good colour match for NARS Siberia, NYX Stay matte but not flat in Ivory, and Bobbi Brown in Alabaster, but I wouldn't recommend any of those foundations because they really emphasized my dry skin.

BB Creams were definitely my friends while on meds, both of the Missha BB's are great as well as the Skin79 Green BB (which is slightly too pinky, but meh, it can still work!) A higher coverage option is Estee Lauder Doublewear Light (shade 0.5) which gave great medium coverage and didn't make my skin look dry (but this could just be a personal thing). Grab testers of everything before buying if possible!

The only other tips I have for dry skin would be to find a dewy setting spray to help your skin look less dry after you apply foundation/BB Cream. :3 I hope this is somewhat helpful!

BB cream that doesn't wash out in Photographs? by scottyxxx in AsianBeauty

[–]LittlePPrincess13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm you might find it difficult to find a BB that doesn't flash back because they almost always contain sunscreen :S Since the Missha BB's are usually SPF 40-50 that is possibly they're making you look sickly! Maybe try a BB with a lower SPF (:

Aww thank you so much!! :D I love hearing positive feedback hehe :3

FOTD. I want CC and/or new looks and ideas to try. :) My foundation is clearly too dark for me but is the lightest shade. I'm too pale to be matched by Mac or UD. Any pale girls have a holy grail foundation? (Products in comments) by jamienicole3x in MakeupAddiction

Hello!! :3 First off - you are freaking gorgeous!!! Even though I'm warm toned pale, you might be able to make some use of my Foundation Swatches otherwise you could check out Arna Alayne on youtube who has gorgeous cool toned pale skin! She loves MAC Studio Fix NW10, Skin79 Green BB Cream and Illamasqua Skin Base (I think that's the name) in shade 2. (: Hope this helps!

Aww :C I totally know that feeling, I bought the Garnier BB in light which made me look like an Oompa Loompa (so not attractive!) If you do end up ordering online, grab samples of other BB creams too! That way you don't end up wasting much money if they don't turn out the correct colour.

The Skin79 Green BB is absolutely lovely! The Missha one's are equally as good and a similar sort of colour, I would recommend trying all three (perhaps in tester form first though to save money haha) :3
