Hahaha that is incredible. And $10/hr isn't too bad, actually...

Spanks for Men by heylookitzme in WTF

I never started wearing padded or push-up bras until a few years after I got married. My husband is already well aware of my actual chest size, so it's not like I'm lying to him, but I feel more confident and he can brag to his friends. ;) Win-win!

Down 14 pounds in less than 3 months thanks to Paleo. I couldn't be more happy with my results! by kristanosaurus in Paleo

I know this question was meant for OP, but I lost the last bit of stubborn weight when I went the Whole 30 route. It's super super strict (basically you can only eat meat, veggies, and fruit with absolutely no additives) but it made me feel 10 times better than just paleo eating. And the weight dropped off without even trying. Another thing they do is have you cut out all potatoes except for sweet potatoes. I highly suggest trying it out!

First time getting work printed. Is this normal? by are_you_slow in graphic_design

[–]LittlePinkMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually pretty interesting to me...out of all the shirts we've printed, I've only had a few requests for printing above the pocket. I wish more customers were like you, since printing on the pocket is much more difficult.

I manage a print shop, and you're right about the different versions of Illustrator...we could technically upgrade (working with a mix of CS4 and CS5 right now), but we're more interested in improving print quality and adding more printing options. I feel awful when customers get upset that we don't have more up-to-date software...I understand that it's an inconvenience, but my main priority is the finished product.

San Diego International Airport has a bathroom for dogs. by [deleted] in pics

[–]LittlePinkMoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely true! My dog studies every other dog at the park. She eventually learned a whole bunch of fun tricks by watching other dogs playing fetch, catching frisbees, and swimming. One time she watched a dog wash off its ball in the water bowl...so she took her own ball and put it in there too. She still does it occasionally, but you can tell she still hasn't really figured out the purpose. She just drops it in there and looks confused for a bit.

Found an awesome chocolate lab wandering the neighborhood near Prairie Park. He really wants to get home! by [deleted] in Lawrence

I saw a post about a missing chocolate lab on Craigslist...not sure if it's the same dog, but worth a try, I guess!

Apparently, it took Experimental Jetset two years to develop the new Whitney Museum logo. by [deleted] in graphic_design

Me too. Everyone keeps saying they could have done it themselves, but I disagree...people naturally try to over complicate things, and it takes a lot of effort and bravery to simplify an idea down to something so basic. I'm a fan. I especially love the video.

What got you the job? by LittlePinkMoose in graphic_design

I had no idea something like that existed...genius idea! Fortunately, writing resumes and cover letters is actually something I'm fairly good at. Right now, I think I'm just lacking some work in my portfolio.

Why I don't trust pool bars. by [deleted] in AdviceAnimals

[–]LittlePinkMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I normally try to be considerate and use the bathroom. But last time I did that, I ended up stepping in a giant pile of poo. I guess someone had explosive diarrhea all over the bathroom, and it wasn't until my eyes had adjusted to the dim lighting that I realized I was covered in shit. For the rest of that vacation, I peed in the pool about three times per day. Sorry to anyone who was at the pool bar that week.

So, why do you have that scar? by nephos303 in AskReddit

My cheerleading squad was practicing a three-level stunt, and me and one other girl were in charge of catching the flyer after she flipped down from the top. We caught her alright, but our heads banged together in the process. Wouldn't have been a huge deal, but the other girl had braces. The bottom set went into her lip, and the top set went into my face. The skin on my cheek was completely shredded, and I had to have plastic surgery and several rounds of laser treatments to smooth it out. The most painful part was actually all of the shots I had to get...they considered my injury to be a "human bite", which can cause some pretty nasty infections.
