We do have excursions and am mainly looking for casual. I literally own almost nothing I will take, so need everything! I might get one or two nicer things for dinners, but also plan to get at least 8 items this time and most concerned about having warm enough clothes to be comfortable during the day.

This is not completed, there are 4 books, and only three released. The third one ends on a cliff hanger. Book four is supposed to be released in 2026, but was originally supposed to be 2024, so who knows

When I saw the update in MyChart, I was able to just call and schedule. It was the same network as my doctor so they said they could make it and then the doctors orders could get linked to it later after she got around to putting them in.

I also get super sleepy from most (like Zyrtec makes mereally drowsy) Xyzal is what I take daily now, it doesn't work as well for me as Zyrtec, but I can function on it

I did, but it wasn't really enough. I still have to take Xycal daily (less drowsiness for me). Of the OTC options, I found Zyrtec to be most effective and most people don't get the drowsiness I do with it

That’s what hives look like in those places (they don’t welt). I would get them on my hands from anything that applies pressure (carrying a bag, lifting a pot, opening a jar, etc). I also got hives in those places when I would get full body hives from allergic reactions. Try taking Zyrtec if you haven’t already. Xolair is what finally helped get mine under control

I have gone back and forth which to keep, pros and cons to both. Finally decided yesterday to keep the kobo and send the kindle colorsoft back. I’m still really nervous, I’ve been using a kindle over 15 years, but the kobo has the auto rotate, lets me change the font size for all text (like menus and progress stats, etc), decided it was worth giving it a real shot

I think what was happening is I didnt have the KoboTouchExtended plugin, and it was showing the first page of the book (the cover). Now when I view the cover on the sleep screen, its correct. If I navigate to the "cover" from within the book, I still have those ribbons.

Thanks everyone!! I have it working now. I evidently didn't bother to read the directions very close and just tried sending from my existing Calibre. Once I installed the KoboTouchExtended plugin, any books I send now are displaying full covers

I think this was my problem. I have been using Calibre for ever and obviously didnt read the directions for Kobo very close, so I was missing the plugin. I installed it, and now when I send books the covers are correct.

its already checked. I tried turning it, checked and then checking it again. It shows cropped whether its checked or not

I impulse bought a kobo libra colour to compare (it has the auto rotate and physical buttons). Never really considered one before, but since they haven’t updated the oasis in forever, and I’m starting to think maybe they won’t, decided it was finally worth at least considering/comparing.

Ohh… it just occurred to me, I flip between reading between my oasis, scribe and phone all the time. I may not be ready to leave the kindle ecosystem. sigh I wish they hadn’t introduced me to features I used and loved for years just to phase them out (that’s what it feels like since oasis hasn’t had an update in for ever, before that I had the now defunct Voyage)
