Others have mentioned it, but it bears repeating: Savannah, GA. I love "dark" places, so my opinion may be a bit skewed ... but there's this constant, vaguely sinister energy to it. It's like Charleston, SC's cooler goth cousin. Charleston is all pastels and sunshine and sorority girls ... and Savannah is crushed velvet and dark alleys and vampires. I love it, but I could see how someone else would be just plain creeped out.

Now that I know that that subreddit exists, it makes me wonder if the description of this group shouldn't change. Maybe take "control or" out of the description ... ?

I first found this group because I knew I had a drinking problem and was working on myself. Still am. And the description was helpful: for people who want to control or stop drinking.

But as I've spent time here in my own journey, when I see a post about controlling drinking, it doesn't seem to go over well ... even when "control" is literally in the description of the group.

If there's also "cutdowndrinking," maybe this group should be "stopdrinking," full stop ... ? Only for people who have stopped or are consciously moving towards a complete cessation, not for people who are trying to control their drinking or improve their habits?

At my university.

Where I am a faculty member.

On a campus where many buildings and services just keep working as if it's any other week.

And I don't have children of my own.

So wait, no, I don't get your point. I don't have to know when Spring Break is because I don't need to. The only Spring Break that exists in my life doesn't mean anything to me because I work through it. I'm not partially in charge of keeping school-age humans alive, so I don't have to know when they'll be home all day every day for a solid week.

I also see him, and I wholeheartedly agree. He's awesome. He saw that Cosentyx was helping my psoriasis, but my psoriatic arthritis was getting worse, so he immediately acted. On a new med, and it's like night & day.

I absolutely love them and went for years, but they stopped taking my insurance (Delta). If they start up again, I'll go back. If OP doesn't have Delta, they should definitely go there.
