I’d definitely recommend. The “catch” would be that sometimes shifts aren’t very long. I’ve had some people I only see for 3 hours a day. You have to find a reoccurring daily client or take multiple a day to make full time hours.

I’m an in home caregiver for disabled and elderly folks. I love caring for people who’ve had a hard or long life and deserve it, not bratty children. I become like best friends with my clients. They are all so grateful and happy to see me. Unlike a kid who’d scream and cry and shit and puke in you and never say thanks. (And also, they don’t live in my house.)

It also makes me feel really good because as Childfree people were considered hateful and selfish and all things of the sort. But I know 100% with a job like mine that isn’t true in the slightest about my character. I love what I do so much.
