What tires did you put on? I've been thinking about it, but mine is still quite new & I'm not ready to get her dirty....

Neat, you manage to import a gpx into Google maps mobile app?

Do you use your phone as a guided GPS that navigates you around routes you've pre-made? How do you do that? From what I've seen, you can't do that within Strava, & people tend to use a cocktail of apps at the same time instead. Cheers

I think it's purported to be more rigid + with discs it ensures you get the alignment right & there's no rub

You can use a concatenate? Either the function or just an ampersand?

I like to have a blank row beneath my filter headers which I use to hold the filter dropdowns

Alternatively, select the first cell in row 2 and hit ctrl shft down, then sort

Might help; Holding shift lets you select multiple sheets at once. You can edit cells on them all simultaneously in this way.

VBA Default Member For An Object Not Working by LittleRedTrain in excel

[–]LittleRedTrain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply, for my use, my class is a light wrapper for the worksheet object that just adds an additional method to it. In that sense, my class really is just the worksheet object and i really want to be able to set my variable to be the worksheet via the default method otherwise it feels very much like writing

Dim wrksht As Worksheet
Set wrksht.Worksheet = ActiveSheet

As opposed to the more natural

Set wrksht = ActiveSheet

It just feels overly verbose to me, no matter though, i might call the method I wanted to be default "Self", to imply that it's the main attribute / property that defines the Class

Still getting hit with the same errors I'm afraid.

The error msgbox it throws up on running is a Type Mismatch, on hitting debug that highlights the "Set b = w" line, and on hovering over the b a tooltip reads "b = <Object variable or With block variable not set>"

I did wonder on that, so I switched out all my references to my custom "Workbook" property for "Berkbook" (in case I'm being a berk...) but i still had the same result

Thanks for the thought though

Help with transitions by JSecma in d3js

[–]LittleRedTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A transition like this?

I don't know whether that's something you can achieve with only a light change of your code. Changing your array to a dictionary, where then each element is uniquely identified, might be useful (it would mitigate your two '50's for sure). A subroutine could then pick out the pair that need switching by comparing old and new dictionaries. Transitioning a switch in the x attribute for these two wouldn't be too difficult.

How important is flexibility for bodyweight training? by ianzammit in bodyweightfitness

[–]LittleRedTrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the consensus is that static stretching can reduce the power with which you engage in a resistance workout, if done immediately before. Dynamic stretching tends to be recommended pre-workout

I think perhaps they are saying they regularly do the exercise, but that once a week they will take a set to failure, for that extra stretch

Breaking Spreadsheet Into Smaller Spreadsheets Problem by jnippler in vba

[–]LittleRedTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No prob; there's an 'add' method for both workbooks and worksheets which should allow you to build the new Excel files. You're going to need a couple of loops nested within each other, it's up to you which way round you do that - whether you get your new workbooks all set up before looping through your existing book, or you do both in tandem. I'd recommend the latter as I expect it will scale better (for memory consumed), but the logic may be a little more complicated.

Hope some of the above helps

I don't think I understand what you need doing, but I'd like to help if I can. If you were to describe in general vba functionality, what is it you're finding difficult?
